The Agriturismo IL CIPRESSO is located in a beautiful Chianti hill, in the small medieval village of Gavignano, 2 km from the town of Ambra.

It is a small but magnificent structure near Siena, in a truly very suggestive and magical place. It can be easily reached in 20 minutes from Siena and Arezzo and around 50 minutes from Florence. Arezzo (25 km) Siena (30 km) and Florence (45 km).

In the farm there is the opportunity to stay in recently renovated characteristic farmhouses, totally independent and each with an external green space.

Customers can also access the swimming pool located in the most panoramic point of the place.

The most total immersion in nature is guaranteed, in addition to the beautiful view of the Valdarno and Valdambra, also from the possibility of taking long walks in the surrounding old streets and in the characteristic medieval villages: very suitable places also for excursions by mountain bike or on horseback.

We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful countryside home. The views were amazing and hosts not only provided fresh eggs, vegetables, and Chianti from their own farm, but made excellent recommendations for sites and restaurants. We had chosen to rent a car, stay on the relaxing, quiet country, and do day trips. We loved it.

Very pretty location

We found a very pretty location in this part of Tuscany with a great view on the surroundings. Also a clean, spacious and quiet apartment for four persons and a big veranda. We stayed 14 days and found it not only perfectly suited for excursions to the well-known sites, but also a good starting point for fine road cycling tours on quiet and hilly roads. A swimming pool gave us always time to relax. We also have to mention the vegatables that we regularly received fresh from the fields, much better than those that can be bought in a supermarket. We always had a good talk about different things (Sting, Soccer Italy vs. Germany, etc.). Last but not least, Gina, the house cat, that almost always occupied one seat at our table and liked to be petted, which we in turn liked also very much. All in all a strong recommendation for a vacation here in this area.
