Petrino Beach house - a few steps from the sea away from crowds

"Petrino" house is an independent part of a villa built against the hillside, in the Greek island style, in a family property of 1.5 hectares located by the sea. The house which is at the lower level of the villa, covers an area of 70 square meters (m2) and consists of two double bedrooms one living - dining room with kitchen and a WC with shower. It has an independent entrance, a large paved veranda with a pergola (reed) and access to the beach through a stone staircase. It commands great views.

In the family property there are four separate homes both for private use and for rent. They are built on different levels around a small square located 25m above sea level, creating a picturesque neighborhood. They all offer large verandas and magnificent views to the sea and the surrounding mountains. Cretan nature is present everywhere and each season has its own distinct beauty in this place.
There are two stone built staircases to the beach with around 120 steps each one of them.
The access to each house is independent as well as to the staircases leading to the beach. The privacy of each site is fully secured.
The access to this house from the parking area is via a staircase with around 20 steps.

Visitors can move freely in the estate except in the private area of each residence, which is clearly delimited. The central square can be used for parking by the guests.


Given the direct contact with nature, the visitor should sometimes expect the presence of annoying insects (flies etc.) as well as volatile weather conditions, especially in the wind. Otherwise the sea is usually calm and safe without any currents and tides. Sea bottom and marine life is very interesting for those who love snorkeling.
The use of stairs to the beach requires good physical condition as it consists of about 120 steps. In the middle of the stairs there is a bench for rest.
