At a distance of 60 kms(about 1 hour drive) from Heraklion, the capital of Crete.
In the area you can find many south crete beaches and a few minutes from home many taverns with great tastes of cretan cuisine and fresh fish!
If you are looking for relax - sun - real food, this is ideal for you!

The house was perfectly equipped, the host left us some food, so we had no rush to go to the supermarket. We found everything that we could need, to cook, to rest. Spotlessly clean. Not going to share any pictures, the ones here are ok enough. A cozy house in the middle of the fields.

Beautiful property, great location

This is a gorgeous home in a very peaceful and beautiful part of the island. The home owners are extremely welcoming and helpful. Absolutely perfect!!!

Amazing Holiday

Villa was lovely, great pool. Kids loved everything! Host was really really helpful and friendly. Very quiet area but a short drive to nice towns and villages for food. Thank you so much!

Absolutely Amazing

We had a great Time at the house. It’s quite and comfy. There are a couple of tiny towns around, but you will need a car. The house and the owner are awesome. The house has everything you need.

Beautiful house in the middle of nowhere

We had wonderful days in this house. the interior is really lovely. Everything is functional and in a good shape. The pool and the garden are really nice, too. Important remark to whom it may concern, there is nothing much around in this area, you definitely need a car to go to points of interest. There are some small shops around for foot and daily stuff, some taverns, that's it.

Traumhafte Oase der Besinnlichkeit

Such a joyful place. In the middle of nowhere appears this beautiful house surrounded by a huge garden with green grass, olive trees, many flowers and a big swimming pool. It is excellent and lovingly furnished and well maintained. Everything is perfect equipped! Kostas is a great host - left food for half the week including a bottle of wine and raki! All our questions were answered at once. I highly recommend him! With our rented car we got to all the lovely places which Kostas suggested. A car is a must have! If you are looking for peace and quiet and not touristy areas go to Kostas house!

Cozy little Villa with Amazing Pool & Cute Garden.

The house was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, complete with air conditioning and all necessary amenities, including a washing machine and tumble dryer. Upon our arrival, Kostas and his wife had thoughtfully stocked the fridge with essentials such as coffee, bread, olives, fruit, honey, biscuits, water, and more. The highlight of the property was the exceptional pool, which was self-cleaning and continually refilling. Not a single bug was in sight, and the water remained crystal clear throughout our stay. The well-maintained grass allowed us to walk barefoot and even play badminton on the front lawn. The local beaches were beautiful and uncrowded, perfect for snorkeling in clear waters. For dining options, numerous local taverns were just a short drive away, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes to satisfy every craving. Overall, our experience was truly exceptional, and we highly recommend this property for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Peaceful retreat

Kostas’ Villa in Arvi is on the south coast of Crete and is an extremely short drive (less than 2 minutes) from a small village with what seemed had little to no tourism; you feel immersed in life with the locals. It’s a sleepy village with not much going on. The Villa is an hour and a quarter from Heraklion airport via some very windy roads so not for the faint hearted. The views on the way are spectacular so better to get a flight that lands you during daylight hours. The Villa is at the foot of a mountain and is entirely private, nestled in its own garden with electric gates that make you feel even more private from the odd person passing down the dust track that passes the Villa. We arrived late in the evening and were warmly greeted by Kostas and his wife (and two cats!) who had generously stocked the kitchen with food, water and wine to get us started. The house was spotlessly clean. Our favourite off-the-beaten-track beach was Stuoros Beach just 25 minutes away. The small coastal town of Myrtos was a wonderful more touristy place but still super peaceful. Be prepared to drive a lot to discover places so a hire car is a must. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking to be away from the busy tourist spots. It’s the perfect place to relax, read, swim and recharge.

Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub - absolut empfehlenswert

Wir waren 10 Tage dort und haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohlgefühlt.Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es war wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht – von Waschmaschine und Trockner bis hin zu einem komplett gefüllten Kühlschrank bei der Ankunft (das hatten wir so noch nie!).Der Pool ist ein Traum und wurde von uns ausgiebig genutzt. Die Kommunikation mit Kostas war jederzeit schnell, herzlich und unkompliziert – vielen Dank an ihn und seine Frau für die Gastfreundschaft!Ein Auto ist definitiv empfehlenswert, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und können diesen Ort uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.Danke für alles, Kostas!

Fantastisch!

Het was in een woord perfect, lekker rustig en het huis was keurig verzorgd/ ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Wat we bijzonder waarderen was het welkomstpakket: een goed gevulde koelkast, koekjes en lekkere drankjes.

Sehr empfehlenswert

Wir waren eine Woche dort und haben unseren Aufenthalt bestens genossen. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gepflegt, alles super sauber, was wir bisher sehr sehr wenig bei Ferienwohnungen vorgefunden haben. Da war kein Nachreinigen notwendig. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, hat zwei schöne Zimmer und ein blitzsauberes Bad. Einfach nur schön. Der Aussenbereich des Hauses, mit einem kleinen Pool ist sehr schön gestaltet. Einfach nur Entspannen. Es gibt in der Umgebung viele schöne und reizvolle Dinge zu sehen (wer Natur pur mag). Für manche Ziele muss man allerdings auch mal Schotterwege in Kauf nehmen. Auf jeden Fall ein gelungener Urlaub. Daumen hoch. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Marvellous hollidays

One ideal week in a very beautiful house. Quiet days: swinming pool and very nice garden. À lot of things to do in the aera. Beautiful beaches. À lot of delicious things to eat and drink at our arrivals ! And lovely cats … We would like stay on more week !

Excellente vacance en Crête

Maison très agréable et belle. Les propriétaires sont super accueillants. À notre arrivée le frigidaire était plein de bonne chose. La piscine est parfaite pour la famille. Le village à proximité Arvi est très sympa avec ses petits restaurants typiques. Je recommande pour passer des vacances en famille.

Un petit paradis au calme

Tout était absolument parfait. La villa est magnifiquement décorée et équipée. Piscine privée entourée d’un beau jardin et jolie terrasse. Kostas le propriétaire et sa femme sont au petits soins pour que vous passiez de magnifiques vacances. Le lieu est très isolé, ce qui dans notre cas correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes. Voiture obligatoire et on est loin des endroits touristiques. Mais si on aime le calme et les endroits un peu en dehors du tourisme de masse c’est parfait! On espère revenir :)

Schöner als auf den Photos!

Aangename rustvakantie

Heel mooi en praktisch huis, compleet ingericht. Tuin en zwembad fantastisch. Contact met eigenaar zeer positief, heel hartelijk onthaal met gevulde frigo en andere attenties. De omgeving is niet erg aantrekkelijk maar dat wisten we vooraf. Ideaal voor een rustvakantie. Minder goed gelegen voor wie Kreta wil bezoeken, omwille van de duur van de verplaatsingen doorheen het berglandschap.

Exceptionnel

Une très belle maison, très fonctionnelle dans un écrin de verdure magnifique. Une très belle piscine à débordement entourée de végétation. Aucun bruit, aucun vis-à-vis , située à 300 mètres d’une plage presque sauvage et non fréquentée ... sublime ! Notre hôte était très intentionné et très disponible. Toute la famille était sous le charme.
