Beautiful and spacious

It was a beautiful home that was great for our family vacation, with eleven adults. The fellas enjoyed the pool table. The ladies enjoyed the hot tub (though the bench to get in is a little wobbly so be careful climbing in). The huge table was nice for family games. We did have to buy more trash bags.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

My family (6adults and 6 kids 16 and under) had an amazing time at this house. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer. The team was incredibly responsive when a couple of minor issues surfaced.

Spring Break Family trip

The cabin looks exactly like the pictures, down to the Christmas decorations. We had a family of 14 with 7 adults. The cabin was the perfect size and allowed for all children and adults (single and couples to have their own bed. The kids loved having the room of bunk beds. The games were a hit.

Nice Getaway

The property was large enough for everyone in a party of 13 to have their own space. The game room downstairs got a ton of use. We thought there was cable in all of the rooms, but turns out there wasn’t and the guide feature on the main tv(which is very small) was hard to maneuver.

Nice accomodations

The cabin was very nice, we had issues with two TVs one we were unable to change the channel, the other went out completely on our 3rd day of 5. Luckily we didn't use them that often. One of the bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner, but overall all in our party of 13 were pleased. I would recommend staying at this cabin.

Good Week Long Getaway

The cabin was very well decorated for the holidays and very roomy for the 6 of us. The game room got lots of use by all of us with many cutthroat shuffleboard games. Weather was great the entire week, so we spent a lot of time on the deck in the mornings and evenings. Perhaps consider a few upgrades to the deck furniture...you'll know what ones. The crew that set the house up for our arrival deserves kudos. Lights on, including the Christmas tree, bathrooms ready with almost all amenities and the fridge and wine fridge at temperature upon arrival. We are a family of cooks so my only kitchen suggestion is a decent knife sharpener as everything was quite dull. Overall, we had a great time at a nice property.

Overall disappointing

We chose this cabin for a family trip for my birthday because of how amazing it looked via the pictures. Literally as we waked in the house we saw they were very misleading. First problem, the house was absolutely FREEZING when we arrived. Went to the thermostat and it was so cold that the thermostat said it’d be 4 hrs before it would heat up! Went to turn on the fireplaces so we could warm up… living room one didn’t work. Couches all broken, pool table broken… various lightbulbs burnt out. NONE of the recliners worked.. I immediately called the house manager. He “said” he’d put in a ticket and claim and someone will be with me immediately to adress reimbursement due to our experience. Keep in mind, we’re only here 1 night! So the price is a lot of money! I’ve not heard a thing. Asked again this morning as we were checking out.. still nothing. We only had like 10 towels for a house that sleeps 22… it was 10pm before the house finally warmed up, Construction work at 7am on a Sunday… just overall so disappointed in the experience here.

Wouldn’t Return Unless Renewed

The house itself is very pretty and well located. However, it seems to be very poorly taken care of. Three of the bedroom doors frames were broken/snapped off, so we were unable to close or lock those doors. There were small cockroaches throughout the kitchen, so there needs to be some fumigation/pest control done. The landscape was gorgeous, but there was trash littered around the immediate house, so it doesn’t appear that the property was properly cleaned since the previous guest(s) had stayed there. Overall, a few items in the house need an update: the throw pillows & some bedding items were dirty & old-looking and the couches in the living room seem worn out. There’s a pool table on the bottom floor, but the triangle needed to set up the balls was missing, so we weren’t able to play. It’s also worth noting that it snowed the night before our last day and the house completely lost power - it remained without power through when we left.

Nice home, unsafe

I wish we could give this property more stars, but we were extremely disappointed with the condition of the home. The multiple decks were old, unsafe with loose railings, exposed rusty nails, and rotting/splintering boards. We did let the property manager know immediately. The carpets were stained and we found garbage in one of the bedroom closets. To top it off the house was infested with large ants. In fact they got into all of our food and snacks. Now we hope we didn’t bring any stow always home. We had truly hoped for better quality for the price. The home is expensive and not in any condition to be rented. Despite all these horrors, the management company was extremely pleasant and responsive. They did come out to survey the property, but of course nothing could be done while we were there. We made the most of our vacation and hope they will fix the issues for future renters. I suggest if you decide to rent this property you check on the status of these issues in advance.

Dirty, much broken, and unsafe rotten deck!

Upon our arrival, the house smelled of pot and had trash in many of the drawers. Upon further investigation, the hot tub was disgusting and non-functioning, many blinds, door handles, door locks were broken or missing and sliding doors to the balcony from the bedrooms were frozen shut and would not open. There was 1 new deck board on the deck but all the boards around it were rotten and felt like that would break through (we never allowed anyone to go on the deck due to safety concerns). Upon reaching out to the property manager, the response was very delayed and they have seemed annoyed at having to deal with the situation. Based on the amount of things broken and the inability to use the outdoor space due to safety concerns, the refunded a nominal amount trying to appease and when I said that wasn’t sufficient and would like to discuss it further, I have had no response since. If there had been an alternative option available at the time, we would have moved properties. I would not stay at this property nor trust this company.

Housekeeping ❓❓❓❓

The property, location, and everything inside the cabin was great, except for some minor issues, that maintenance was rite on top of . There were 16 of us 2 being toddlers had plenty of room to spread out in . When we arrived and entered the cabin, WOW ... but when you really 👀 around and.start checking things out, that’s when I noticed how filthy everything was ,believe me we took pictures the floors and rugs 👀 like they were never touched ,we swept up a big pile of dirt off the kitchen / dining room floor, the rugs under the tables in dining/living area 👀 liked they never were swept 🤔 .The glass top stove in the kitchen 👀 like it had never been cleaned ,the kitchen floor was so stickey when you walked a crossed it so you knew that was mopped either, food in the drawers ,dead lady bugs (LOTS) laying in ALL the window seals .They say they have a problem with ladybugs, but for the 5 nights we were there we seen 1 ,seen more big black ants 🐜 crawling on the floor ,than lady bugs 🤔 One of the bathroom shower curtains had about 5 inches of black mold around the bottom . For such a beautiful cabin I would think that the owners /Vacasa would think the filth is totally unacceptable I called house keeping they sent a lady over ,I showed her everything in question and she totally agreed, started doing a few things ,MOST of us left to give her some space to do her thing ,before you know it she got a phone call and left . Sooo my sister and myself were left to vacuum the entire cabin and get the dried on food off of the counters / cabinets ,not a great first impression for any of the house staff‼️So yes I texted the manager ,(who is to be over the house) and he passed me on to Shelly , he was out of town, don’t know if she’s head over housekeeping or what but thats what I was told and we were also told they do an inspection before guests arrive, well not that day or they would of seen what we seen. So all in all after WE cleaned the cabin to what it should have been upon our arrival,we had a great time ‼️ Never did hear from housekeeping to see if everything was taking care of! That’s why I only gave a 2 ⭐️ On review PS : Should check out the sewer at the cabin, twice it was running out of the top and the smell was horrific ‼️ Family from OHIO

Well equipped comfortable for a large group!

Home was perfect for our family Christmas 80th Birthday gathering! We had 15 people and we were very comfortable. A few more detailed instructions would have been nice for the Hot Tub and alarm system. Also we missed dish towels or a sponge for kitchen. Although we had initial issues with the hot tub, VACASA was very responsive. Ultimately, some written instructions on where the main electric switch was located would have solved our questions and what we thought was a “problem.” We would 100% return given the opportunity.

Great cabin for large groups, but could be cleaner.

We really liked this cabin. Location was central to everything and the cabin accommodated our large group nicely. The property was beautiful, although the waterfall was not working. Check-in was easy and the cabin was available about 2 hours earlier than advertised check-in time. There are plenty of pots, pans, dishes, glasses, mugs and silverware. We did, however, have a few issues. The rugs in the common areas are filthy, everyone’s feet/socks were black after only a few hours. They really should be replaced or sent out to be cleaned. The kitchen floor was also dirty and sticky; didn’t seem like it was really cleaned in a while. The video game did not work at all and there were no instructions on how to use the hot tub. A light fixture/ceiling fan did not work in one of the bedrooms and only 1 of the 8 tv’s worked. We did call the management office, and they did come out to look at e everything, but none of the issues were resolved or followed up on by the time we left. And I know we’re talking about a cabin in the woods on the side of a mountain, but none of the windows have been cleaned and all have year’s worth of spider webs and dead bugs. None of these issues would necessarily prevent me from staying here again, but the cleanliness really should be addressed as it’s been mentioned in many previous reviews. Other than 2 small bottles of dish soap, 3 dishwasher pods and a sponge, no cleaning supplies were available at all, so make sure you bring them, including trash bags. I wasn’t really expecting them and brought my own, but a mop or swiffer would have come in handy.

Mixed feelings

The house itself and the surrounding area were amazing. However, the cleaning and maintenance crew need to be fired!!! The house was a mess when we arrived. The basement bathrooms were dirty (hair ties and hair all over the place) the bottom deck had trash all over it (dirty gauze, wrappers, cans left), none of the floors were washed (our feet were black), and the towels were not washed. As for maintenance, the hot tub was broken (kept turning off and on all day long), the ice machine was broken, the towel railing in the main bathroom was broken, only the main floor and main TV in the basement worked, and the video game was broken. We stayed there for a little over a week (16 of us) we had to buy our own toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish washer soap, laundry detergent (would have been fine if they would have given us a heads up).
