There are six huge double bedrooms, four of which are triples, one is a family room which sleeps four adults, (a large double bed and a bunk bed sleeping 2), and a double. Two of the bedrooms have their own luxury private en-suite bathrooms, and there is a large family bathroom with a huge rolltop bath, separate walk-in wet room shower, toilet and wash basin. There are several discrete CCTV cameras in the outside areas which are a big plus for security in a big house in a rural area.

For improvement, the only thing we can think of is Tea n Coffee facilities, but other than that the location was a beautiful place to celebrate our Father/Grandad/Brother/other.
Our group of 8 had a wonderful time at this property. The host, Tim, was so accommodating and helpful. The property is gorgeous and 200 years old! Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful home.

Thankyou so much for your very nice comments, John!
It was a genuine pleasure to host you all, and an extra bonus for me to have such friendly chats with you all, and even have a quick beer in the pub next door!
Your family was absolutely charming and so respectful of my property – I have never come in to clear up the following morning and found my house so clean and tidy before!
Safe and happy travels to all of you, and I hope maybe to see you again one day in the future.
We enjoyed a big family gathering at the Hollies , we cooked a Christmas lunch with all the trimmings using the great facilities and two cookers. Played lots of games, disco for the children, treasure hunt in the garden.Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable.Great house to stay in with a welcominh Host
We had a wonderful stay at the Hollies. The house is great, very spacious and the garden area is lovely. We had great communication with the owner, Tim, before and during our stay, who was incredibly helpful throughout. We spent most of our stay at the house, as we were blessed with beautiful weather and the garden was just fantastic for enjoying the sunshine. We hope to come back one day and perhaps explore the local area more!
A splendid place to stay for a reunion. Great communication with Tim, and welcome too. Very comfortable beds and sitting room etc. Great house for hide and seek. Top floor was a bit cooler but lovely warm duvets.
8 adults with 6 children aged 3 and 5. Plenty of space for everyone, well equipped kitchen and a great garden for young ones to muck about in. The pub next door was handy and not noisy. There is a playground a short walk away.
What would be useful is a guide to the area - a couple of ideas of walks to pubs nearby or places to visit. Otherwise, very friendly host and great accommodation.
Lovely house, with good sized rooms and great for 4 couples and a couple of singles (or up to 6 couples), or potentially some with smaller childern. Well equipped kitchen, with plenty of crockery etc, if a little mismatched. Pleasant location although a shame that the adjacent pub is closed for renovation, but many other good pubs nearby (Grey Goose especially so).
Property had exactly the right number of beds and bedrooms to suit our large family, but no facilities for babies, so we had to provide cots and high chairs for 2 babies. Enough toilets to suit us - 2 in bedrooms and 1 in the family bathroom, plus 2 individual ones on ground floor and first floor. Lovely garden for children to run around in. Lots of pots and pans in the second kitchen which enabled us to cook large quantities of food easily. Great table in the kitchen to all sit around, but a bit of a squeeze for 16 people and 2 babies, but we managed. Lovely park for the children a short walk from the house, but nothing else in the village. Shops available with a 10 minute drive away. Parking was available for 6 cars, but difficult to manoeuvre out. Host was approachable and accommodating. Lounge not big enough, or enough seats for us all at once, but the kitchen was mostly used instead.
We have just spent a delightful weekend at The Hollies celebrating our parents’ 70th birthdays. There are 15 of us in total, 8 adults, 4 teenagers and 3 young children so the Hollies suited us perfectly. The bedrooms are all spacious and very comfortable. There are two en suites, a family bathroom plus two extra toilets so no queuing to use the facilities required! Downstairs there is loads of space. We were all able to fit in the lounge to watch the Rugby World Cup matches/play games and we used the dining room as a ‘quiet’ adult space for those wishing to read the paper in peace. The kitchen was well equipped and the addition of a second kitchen/utility space proved very useful. There is also loads of fridge space, which was much appreciated as we had definitely over-catered! There is a large table in the main kitchen which we all managed to squeeze round (somewhat reminiscent of family Christmas dinners). Although we could have used one of the other tables in the lounge/dining room if needed. There’s also a large garden and lots of nicely designed outside seating areas. We didn’t use these (it was freezing!) but imagine they would be great in the summer. Tim was very welcoming and helpful, he balanced being available and letting us get on with it beautifully. All in all we’d highly recommend the Hollies and look forward to returning in the future.
This property was perfect for our group of adults and children. There was space for the children to play and the adults to socialise. The bedrooms are huge some have ensuite some share a very large bathroom. The house was warm and practical we were able to cook for 17 with ease. Great location close to m1 which suits out group as we are spread across England. Would like to visit in the summer to make use of the giant garden and outdoor eating space.
My wife and I booked the house for two nights to have a fake Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my children, grandson and my sister. The house was exactly as I had hoped and the addition of a Christmas tree and decorations made all the difference. We played music, sang, played games and were able to prepare some lovely food in the kitchens. Everyone was thrilled by the house and the lovely large bedrooms. I really hope we’ll be able to return next year (subject to hospital rotas). It was a lovely Christmas
Perfect house for our hen party of 18. It’s beautiful with all rooms perfect sizes for activities and all chilling out together. The host was more then accommodating, quick at responding and felt very approachable. All guests loved the house and the location was perfect for people traveling from all over the country
The house was the perfect location for a family reunion. Bedrooms all beautiful and comfortable, and the house has such a quirky layout that the children loved exploring. Great to have the BBQ under cover too!
The experience was just profound, we were left to our own and to enjoy there was constant help if needed I will definitely be back to this place for sure
A great property with plenty of space for 14 adults. The photos don’t do it justice! Tim was very helpful with the booking process and planning the space!
My extended family of 14 had a very special weekend celebrating a birthday here. The property is beautiful and spacious and was perfect for a large family gathering. And Tim, and his assistant Kate, were very responsive in their communication. Thank you for such a fantastic stay!

Thanks for your comments Emily!
It was a pleasure to host you all, and it’s great to hear that you had a fun and comfy stay. Your communication was excellent, and Kate tells me that the house was left clean and tidy with the rubbish and recycling separated!
Thanks so much!
I stayed here with my family to celebrate a family birthday with siblings, their children and our parents and it was perfect. Lots of space (and toilets!), and everything we needed. Clean, great towels provided and kitchen facilities. Lutterworth is nearby with two large supermarkets. And there's a pub next door!

Katie - it was a pleasure to host you and your family. Great to hear that you all had a comfy stay, and enjoyed the facilities.
Thank you for communicating so well, and for leaving the house spotless when you left!
We all had a great stay here. Tim was very helpful and friendly. Beautiful house with lots of character that many people wished they could take home with them.
Even though we were mainly a group of young adults we found the house to be a brilliant place for a game of hide and seek :)

Helene and her group of friends were absolutely charming!
They had booked the whole house for a big get together, and they were all extremely polite, friendly, and respectful of the property.
The next day at checkout, I expected a huge clear up operation, but in fact the group had left all the bedrooms immaculate, they had cleaned and tidied everything away, done the washing up, and left the house as tidy as when they found it!
It was a pleasure to host them all – highly recommended!
