Oriented to the south, and next to the Main Church of Vila do Bispo, our house is a single-family house, recently renovated, with high quality construction, 50 cm stone walls, floor, ceilings and solid wood beams, excellent thermal isolation. Very spacious, comfortable, and with all the details; kitchen equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave ... Large living room with fireplace, television, dvd player, stereo, ... ideal for a quiet holiday without worries. With a large porch, and garden with beautiful views, to enjoy the good weather without leaving home.
It has a bathroom and three rooms; one on the ground floor and two on the first floor. Access to the first floor is through the staircase that appears in the general photo of the room.

Strategically located, within the Natural Park of the Costa Vicentina, In the village and overlooking the countryside, located less than five minutes from magnificent beaches.


The town of Vila do Bispo has the best restaurants in the area, health center, public library with free access to the computer room. Wi-Fi zone, playground, market, lidl hypermarket, gas station, banks ...

Located in a spectacular environment and with endless leisure options; surfing, golf, hiking, biking, kayaking, bird watching, naturist beaches,. Very close to quiet beaches of different characteristics; very wide beaches of wild sea, and smaller ones surrounded by vegetation where you can also enjoy the sun and the sea of walks around.
The location of our house also allows us to enjoy the gastronomy of the surroundings, to know historical places, such as Cabo San Vicente, the fortress of Sagres (8km), the port of Lagos (18 km) ..., or to walk along routes Starting from the same town.
Faro airport is only 60 minutes away by car.

Delightful

This is a beautiful place to stay. The house is brilliantly designed, well-equipped and perfectly located to access the local market and wonderful beaches. Myself, my partner and our two children were all able to totally relax, the kids loved the hammock and the garden especially and we both loved the homely feeling of the house and the comfy beds. Thank you so much we shall definitely be returning as soon as possible!

A casa não tem isolamento acústico nenhum nos quartos, ou seja, limita-se a ter um tecto no andar de baixo que também é o chão do mezanino. Não deveria nunca estar anunciada para 6 adultos, pois não permite horas de descanso e de dormidas diferenciadas. A casa de banho também não tem privacidade nenhuma, pelo mesmo motivo. De resto, casa muito bonita, bem decorada e bem apetrechada de equipamentos na cozinha. Terraço e jardim excelentes.

Beautiful well-situated villa

Our stay in Vila Maria was perfect - the place is easy to find, well situated in Vila do Bispo and has a beautiful large garden and a homely open fireplace. Especially great for kids! Would highly recommend

Ruhe und Entspannung an der Westalgarve

Das renovierte Fischerhaus befindet sich direkt im Ort Vila do Bispo. Es ist sehr schön renoviert und hat einen ganz besonderen Charme. Die Einrichtung ist persönlich und sehr schön. Die Terrasse ist wunderbar und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Autostraße vor dem Garten ist zwar befahren, stellt aber keine Beeinträchtigung dar. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war ausgezeichnet. Der Checkin ist problemlos, ebenso der Check out. Tracy's Betreuung vor Ort ist ebenfalls ausgezeichnet, sie ist immer erreichbar und kümmert sich um alles sofort. Der Ort bietet eine sehr gute Infrastruktur mit Supermarkt, Tankstelle, Cafe's und zahlreichen Restaurants, die wirklich gut sind. Die Lage ist als Ausgangspunkt kt für Ausflüge und Wanderungen in die Umgebung ideal, der nächste tolle Strand (Surfen, weniger schwimmen) ist mit dem Auto ca. 8 Minuten entfernt. Aljezur, Lagos, Burgau sind sehr schnell gut erreichbar. Die Westalgarve ist wunderschön und touristisch wenig belastet. Es war eine sehr schöne Woche, der Abschied ist uns schwer gefallen.

Fantástica!

Fuimos con nuestros hijos y unos amigos. Nuestra experiencia ha sido increíble. La casa nos encantó, no le falta detalle y cumplió todas nuestras expectativas. Buena situación y un jardín enorme donde los niños podían jugar con un porche del que los mayores no queríamos salir! Volveremos!!!!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft

Liebe Vermieter, lieber Andy, wir (2 Erw./1Kind) haben unseren Urlaub in Vila do Bispo sehr genossen! Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und individuell eingerichtet (die Fotos entsprechen zu 100 Prozent den Tatsachen vor Ort) — keine 08-15- Unterkunft! Ein Traum! Alles, was man zum tägl. Leben braucht, ist vorhanden inkl. Waschmaschine und (Luxus) Geschirrspüler. Viel Wert wird auch auf Kleinigkeiten gelegt (Tabs für die Maschinen, Wäschestände, Klammern etc). Fußläufig zu Restaurants, kl. Geschäften, Apotheke usw.. . Vila do Bispo ist immer noch ein Ort mit funktionierenden Dorfstrukturen wie Kindergarten, Schule usw.; wunderschöne Strände mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Häuschen uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. P.S.: Vielen Dank auch an Andy für seine nette und sehr persönliche Betreuung!

We really loved this cool house

We (family of four - with two sons 13 & 15 years old) really liked this loft-like house just in the center of Vila Do Bispo a lot ! It`s furnished & decorated in a cool and unique style and has a wonderful personal touch. Not a random holiday rental house. The garden an terrace are huge. During our stay it was very hot without wind, so the nights in the beds under the roof were a bit hot. Also you can hear the big street a little bit - but it didn`t bother us much. There are some good restaurants only a short walk away and a huge variety of beaches close by. Vila do Bispo is the perfect location to explore the area around Sagres.

Comfy, Village Location

The manager was readily available at arrival and departure and the house clean upon arrival. The main living area is quite large, with comfortable couches around a fireplace. Rustic decorations add to the nice feeling of the place. As it was March we had a fire one evening but had to scrounge for wood outside and it was not all dry. Having dry wood available for use would have been nice. Kitchen was well appointed and with lots of space for cook and helpers. Dining area had plenty of space. We found the light switch locations confusing for some fixtures. Although not a problem for us, some older people may find climbing down the ladder at night for a bathroom visit a bit of a challenge as the double beds are in the loft, with bunk beds on the main floor. We loved the village, its main square and cafe. It was a perfect base to explore beaches and hiking trails in the western Algarve. We would definitely recommend this to friends.

Adorámos a casa! A localização é óptima, no centro da vila e o estacionamento nunca foi problema. A cozinha está muito bem equipada e tudo tem muito bom gosto. Importa referir que a casa tem excelentes condições para as crianças (quarto e espaço exterior) e que o apoio dispensado para limpeza diária e lavandaria foi muito bom. Mas o melhor de tudo foram os pequenos almoços na varanda com um vista fantástica todos os dias! Obrigada!

Casa linda, bem equipada, aconchegante

Recomendamos a casa de todo coração. Encontramos tudo conforme descrito em textos e fotos, tudo limpo, prático e bonito. Viemos com duas crianças e todo mundo se sentiu bem na casa e no jardim. De carro foi fácil chegar a várias praias maravilhosas. Fomos bem recebidos, tudo funcionou muito bem. Muito obrigada! Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen. Wir haben alles so vorgefunden wie beschrieben, sauber, praktisch und sehr geschmackvoll. Auch unsere Kinder haben sich in Haus und Garten sehr wohlgefühlt. Mit dem Auto war man schnell an verschiedenen wunderschönen Stränden. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, alles hat bestens geklappt! Vielen Dank!

great!

We had a fantastic weekend in this house. The house is beautifully designed combining tradition and modernity. The high ceilings give a greatfeeling of space. We enjoyed a roaring fire in the evening and long breakfasts on the big sunny terrace in the morning. Vila Obispo has a couple of great beaches nearby and is strategic for both the west and south coasts... happy days!

Remarkable Holiday in Sagres

Thank you Raul and Maria!! Your house in Sagres is simply spectacular; my kids loved being able to run about in the square next to your house right by the church. The setting is peaceful and safe and the views are beautiful. The house is so full of character and it has been decorated with extreme good taste. It is also very comfortable. It was like arriving to our home only better because we are in love with this part of Portugal. My kids loved the beaches and I enjoyed surfing; when they grow older they will also enjoy riding the waves. My wife loved the beach and the restaurants are great. We also enjoyed using the bbq on the terrace for our evening meals!!! We will definitely return next year, and the next, and the next... Again, thank you for giving us the opportunity to enjoy of our second home in Portugal!
