We are located right in the heart of Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with its stunning moorland scenery and tapestry of lush green meadows. Bordered by the Yorkshire Dales National Park and close to the World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey, Nidderdale is that unique blend of ingredients, mixed in the right proportions and painted in the right colours – whatever the season – that has had a timeless appeal to artists, photographers and film makers.
The luxury log cabin is very close to the village called Summerbridge; this place is perfect for a romantic hideaway break or for the people who want to unwind from their hectic week at work… relax in your hot tub and enjoy the stars at night!
Our cabins offer a lounge, kitchen, full bathroom and a nice cosy bathroom; suitable to sleep 2 people, and we operate an adult only/18+ policy.
We have finished them to a very high standard, with all creature comforts from underfloor heating through to luxury linen!
When you arrive, you will find we have included all the following ready for your stay;
Border biscuits A bottle of prosecco Small bottle of milk
This project has been part funded through The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), to support the development of a holiday let diversification for the farm to promote its overall economic development.
Offering two unique year-round luxury log cabins, constructed using massive 500mm diameter Scottish Douglas Fir posts with huge beams and ridges in excess of 650mm, all going to ensure your stay with us will really take your breath away. Built by Calendonia Log Homes, we are sure you will love the old style craftsmanship and care that has gone in to creating them as much as we do.
Although large in construction, each cabin is tastefully designed and decorated to place everything perfectly to scale, and your visit will be one that you will remember.
The log cabins are located on a working farm that specialises in suckled beef cattle and sheep, which you will see whilst out and about!, and the farm itself has been in the family for over a century!
The farm was a primarily dairy till 1996, when it was decided that to go into beef cattle and sheep, and currently we hold 100 beef breeding cattle and 100 sheep.
We have over 250 acres of woodlands and fields, and there are many recognised walks and hikes in the area.
Some of the farm buildings like the milking parlour have now been developed into houses that the family still own and live in.
We have a strict NO PET policy.

Just what you need to escape busy city life. The property was clean and tidy with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom as advertised and Gemma the host was fantastic in answering all my queries within minutes. Would definitely stay again and recommend these properties highly.

Gemma and Una were very easy to contact and very attentive making our stay wonderful. The lodge is just idyllic, in a beautifully peaceful setting, very clean and gorgeously decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped which helped us to cook well during our stay. The prosecco, fresh eggs and homemade shortbread were such a lovely extra. There are some good local walks to enjoy and having a hot tub to soak in after made it just perfect. My partner and I had such a lovely romantic stay and would definitely come back again.
