The hamlet of Charbillac will seduce you with its calm and breathtaking landscapes.
At 2 km in the hamlet of Aubérie, you will appreciate the chapel of the Pétètes. This site, classified as a Historic Monument, is a very fine example of naive art. Dedicated to Saint-Grégoire, this 18th century construction has a very particular ornamentation, you will admire the many statues which mark out the facade.
The Pisançon eco-museum 1.5 km away is also worth a visit, to learn a little more about the history of the region.
If you enjoy walks or hikes in the great outdoors, Charbillac is located near the Ecrins National Park. You will discover with pleasure the richness of the flora and fauna. Edelweiss, fox, marmot, chamois or even golden eagle await you.
In the heart of the Champagne countryside, you can enjoy the many walks to do in the region, in the heart of the Ecrins National Park, on the GR 54 around Vieux Chaillol, many small villages to visit, many lakes and waterfalls.
Leisure parks, tree climbing, mountain biking, sailing, horse riding, parachuting in Gap-Tallard.
In summer, swimming in the lake, fishing in a lake or river, hiking in the mountains or on the spot in the woods, horse riding, road cycling (mountain passes), mountain biking (marked trails).
Saint-Bonnet en Champsaur: historic capital of the Champsaur Valley is one of the rare medieval villages in the French Alps. Located on the Napoleon road, on the border between the Dauphiné and Provence and adjoining the Ecrins National Park, Saint-Bonnet en Champsaur bears witness to a prestigious past and has fervently preserved its cultural heritage for centuries. Place Grenette, which has retained its medieval character, was formerly reserved for the grain market, hence its name Place Grenette. The Tounes: place of passage obliged in the 15th century to reach the Saint-Jacques gate, this place, with its fountain and its tounes (arcades) has retained a medieval imprint.
To unwind, nothing like local specialties, Champsaur tourtons, donkey ears, ravioli, cold meats and cheeses from our valleys.
Also visit the neighboring valley of Valgaudemar nicknamed the little Himalayas! This narrow high mountain valley is closed to the west by the cirques of Gioberney and Chabournéou. Besides mountaineering, hiking is an ideal key to enter this fortress.
Possibility in summer to visit Dévoluy via the Col du Noyer. You can admire at 2500 m the observatory of the Bure plateau, the Étroits site (climbing site), the Mère-Eglise, 11th century chapel, of Romanesque architecture classified as a historic monument and especially the sources of the Gillardes classified as the second sources of France after Fontaine de Vaucluse!
You can also go on an excursion to Gap, the capital of the Hautes-Alpes. This pleasant city located on the famous Route Napoléon promises you real wonders if you take the time to stop. Its magnificent pedestrian center, its Charance estate or its departmental museum will make you regret not spending more time here.
Further afield, Grenoble and Briançon will also be an opportunity to enjoy your stay.
