About this property
Stunning Harrogate Cottage, central location, free parking, free secure WiFi
Artists’ Corner, one of the Artists’ Cottages portfolio, a family business, we own and run the cottages. Artists’ Corner is located just a short 8 minutes walk from Harrogate Convention Centre and the famous Turkish Baths. This stylishly refurbished Victorian Yorkshire Stone Cottage has a unique interior combining ultra-modern comfort and convenience with antiques and retro, inspired by our own travels, giving the feel of a well loved home changed over time into a 21st Century property fitted for the discerning traveller.
The colourful kitchen has all the quality modern conveniences you’d expect in modern accommodation: Miele Pyrolitic oven, Neff induction hob, dishwasher, Delonghi small appliances, Krups (Nespresso) coffee machine, separate laundry area with washer/dryer, iron and ironing board.
The ground floor features a generously sized sitting room with Laura Ashley and Barker & Stonehouse velvet sofas, great for relaxing after a long day! There is a log burner for cooler/ romantic evenings. The new vinyl player, new SMART tv, new Bluetooth speakers give a lovely touch. There’s a selection of Folio edition books and board games for guests to enjoy during their stay. Also on the ground floor, there is a well proportioned shower room with walk- in shower and waterfall head.
The two generous first floor bedrooms have King size beds. The Master bedroom’s bed can split to give singles. Both rooms have hairdryers, wardrobes, chests of drawers and places to sit and work.
The original 19th century cottage staircase, has narrow steep treads to which stair gates cannot be fitted, so making the property unsuited to young children and anyone with mobility issues. Please use the handrails.
We can provide high chair and travel cot (please supply your own bedding) no extra cost but you will need to request them.
At Artists’ Corner, we go out of our way to make your stay as comfortable and personal as possible. We meet and greet our guests to get your stay off to the best possible start. We leave fresh milk in the fridge and a good supply of fresh ground coffee, coffee pods for the machine and of course Yorkshire Tea bags and biscuits. We lay a tray, so no hunting for cups! The Patio area provides BBQ, Chiminea and dining for 4 and floral displays(summer only)
The property is located in a quiet residential street in the original part of Harrogate known as High Harrogate. Artists’ Corner is in close proximity to 3 other properties owned by Artists’ Cottages. It’s a short 8 minutes walk to the town centre and 3 minutes to the local shops, cafes and restaurants.
Sorry no pets at this property. We do have 3 properties in close proximity that accept pets, Artists’ Place, Artists’ Cottage and Artists’ House.
For guests joining us for Christmas and New Year we can decorate ready for your arrival!
