The location is unbeatable next to the biotope (it is an area protected by its great geological value worldwide). The views reach the sea and the surrounding mountains ... The house has a large garden with furniture and views of the sea, covered terrace with barbecue and wood oven…. Another terrace which is accessed from inside the house ... We are within walking distance of the beaches of Deba, Mutriku, Zumaia and Getaria.

The perfect family getaway

My family and my brother’s family stayed here for a short vacation. It was the perfect place for a large group ( there were 9 of on total). The house is spacious and charming and the views are absolutely breathtaking. It’s a very kid friendly property with plenty of outdoor space and even a chest of toys and games. We did not have any trouble finding it, Lourdes sent us the map coordinates and Google maps took us right there. It’s in the hills above Deba and is a great place for exploring the Northern coast of Spain.

Bien el sitio y la ubicación. A comentar: no nos cambiaron las toallas en los 5 días y dada la humedad de la casa hubiera sido necesario por lo menos un cambio. Por lo demás normal.

Arriola Txiki - A Piece of Heaven

A rare chance to bring a chunk of our family together AND enjoy the opportunity to explore this part of northern Spain. The caserio itself is full of character and wonderfully equipped - though getting there for the first time confused our SatNavs a bit. The owner, Lourdes, was welcoming and her daughter, Maider, was happy to give us a tour of the family's history. Fresh madalenas every morning, as well! What more could you ask? Cooked lots of big family dinners in the ample kitchen, soaked up sun on the terraces, and enjoyed memorable day trips to Zumaia, Mutriku, San Sebastián, Lekeitio and Gernika. One of our best-ever holidays.
