The Cow Shed at the Yorkshire Barn, Harrogate is a stunning barn conversion that combines the peace and breath-taking views of the countryside along with the buzz of town centre living just 4 miles away. If you want high quality accommodation where everything is thought of, look no further. All 100% cotton sheets, towels, dressing gowns and 5* amenities including kitchen, pool table, SONOS sound system and free standing bath tub in marble bathroom.
Set in private 10 acre grounds, the Cow Shed is dog friendly and has many beautiful walks on the doorstep. You have your own sunken outside terrace to enjoy the panoramic view and (hopefully!) sunshine. Do you have more guests or we are fully booked? See our sister cottage the Hay Barn on site too!

Styled with the highest quality fabrics and finishing's the Cow Shed has an eclectic mix of well sourced antiques combined with modern comforts such as underfloor heating and Smart flatscreen TV. Designer leather sofa and aviator chairs. There is a full fitted kitchen with SMEG fridge and Nespresso coffee machine, plus washing machine.

The Yorkshire views are sensational and the property location is ideal for cyclists - Harrogate was on the Tour De France route! Safe bike storage available and garage for sports cars. We have plenty of parking for multiple vehicles. There are 4 dog friendly pubs within 2 miles.
Yorkshire Barn is also available for weddings and photography shoots - contact for day rates.

Property exceeded our expectation. Lucy was very welcoming and there were lots of little extras that made the stay even more enjoyable. The views from the property are spectacular, it was the perfect place for our relaxing break and we hope to be back again soon

Stunning property, beaufiful location, we loved it,

Our family of 4 ( including 2 teenagers, plus the dog) spent a lovely week here in August. The property itself it kitted out to an extremely high standard and we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Paul and Lucy were on hand for any small niggles (they live next door), were very friendly helping us settle in and just left us to enjoy the place, which worked a treat. Lucy very kindly set up a separate bed in the second bedroom so our teenagers had a bed each and an ensuite bathroom. They were very happy with it and both said the beds were comfortable. Our bedroom next door was fab with an amazing view! The views from the barn are just beautiful, with well kept gardens and an amazing wild flower meadow, which was in full bloom in August. Plenty of space for the dog to explore, with easy access across several local fields and decent walks nearby. Harrogate is only about 10-15 minutes drive away, Knaresborough about 20, Fountains Abbey about 30 and Malham Cove about an hour. All lovely places, well worth a trip. All in all we had a super week and hope to return. Highly recommended.

Such a stunning property in glorious countyside

What a stunning property in a fantastic country location. The rooms are Immaculate and the attention to detail is amazing. Lucy and Paul really made our stay so enjoyable and took care of our every need. Some great cycling roads are on the doorstep that lead to several fantastic local pubs, serving great food/ale. we will be back!

The Yorkshire Barn experiences the best of both worlds, in a natural, tranquil environment yet a short (15 minute) drive to Harrogate centre, where boutique shops, fine dining restaurants and buzzy bars await.
We are on the doorstep to the Yorkshire Dales boasting amazing walks, cycling, sights and places to visit.
The barn conversion has been a labour of love with no expense spared which you will see from the original features such as beams and exposed stonework to the high end finish. This is a unique opportunity to stay at one of Harrogate's premier homes.
York and Leeds are both 30 minutes away, and the North York coast over 1 hour.
We have 2 cottages on site sleeping up to 8 guests in total - the Hay Barn and the Cow Shed. Pick your favourite, or rent both for large groups, all for less than a hotel room!
