Glass half full but okay

This location is 5/5. The terrace is perfect for a morning coffee or afternoon lounging in the sun. The bedroom is a good size and bed was new. Couch is firm but comfortable. Plenty of dishes but could be reduced for pantry space. Washer was user friendly. The linens- kitchen, bathroom, pillows and blanket were worn and stained. The outside cushions, table and chairs and drying rack all need some maintenance. The shower head needs to be replaced it drips water at best. It was near impossible to rinse my hair. However I am willing to come back and spend a week refreshing the place. Here in winter so night time watching TV there are only a handful of local channels. Owner said she tried to get cable but it didn’t seem to happen. Communication with owner overall was fine. Photos on-line of the suite are when it was in its prime. Still the view from this location is amazing and worth the stay if you’re willing to look at this as a glass half full.

Schönes Appartement & tolle Lage

Wenn man ein bisschen Trubel mag, ist die Wohnung super. Wenn man es gerne ruhig mag, ist das nicht das Richtige..brasilianische Bar im Haus, englische Bars recht und links 😊 das Bad könnte man mal renovieren, und die Möbel auf der Terrasse auch, aber das Bett war neu & gut. Ich mochte die Wohnung & würde wieder kommen 😊

Wir waren begeistert von der sehr großen Terrasse mit Strandblick. Nachts konnte man das Meer rauschen hören. Insgesamt also eine Empfehlung. Danke für einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub!

Nice Seaview Apartment

Everything went perfect, from the first contact till Check-out. Apartment has a spectecular view over the beach/sea with a spacious terrasse. Many Restaurants and Supermarkets nearby. It‘s a nice flat for the summer break.

Ein absoluter Wohlfühlort

Eine bessere Lage als dieses Appartement findet man nicht. Die riesige Terrasse ist direkt am Strand, nur durch die Fußgängerpromenade getrennt. Ringsherum etliche gute Restaurants und Bars. Die Ausstattung ist ebenfalls gut, es fehlt an nichts. Das Bett ist durch ein neues und größeres Boxspringbett ersetzt worden. Es war mein zweiter aber bestimmt nicht letzter Aufenthalt dort. Danke für einen sehr schönen und erholsamen Urlaub!

Lovely 4th Floor Apartment

This a 4th floor apartment with a lift which is well situated at the east end of Quarteria facing the sea. The host left a lovely bottle of red wine as a welcome gift. It's yards away from the beach/sea, so a great location. It's clean and is reasonably well equipped with good air conditioning, washing machine, decent fridge, separate freezer, dishwasher etc and it's fine for 2 people. The bed is a double which may not be for everyone but fine for us. Other reviews mention the noise level from the restaurant/cafes below, which was the case on the Sunday when we arrived as they had a live band but the rest of the week was fine. Don't be put off by this. You are on the 4th floor and because the balcony is deep the noise is softened. There are some good fish and Venezuelan restaurants within yards, plus a small supermarket and bakery. We loved the very large balcony which was a huge plus for us. At night you could hear the sea, So ultimately we would recommend.

Great stay

We had a great week away staying at this apartment. The deck is as big as the apartment looks out onto the promenade and beach. There are many cafes/ restaurants to choose from and all very friendly. Theresa popped in to check all was well and even though she could not be there in our arrival , checked in by message to make sure all was well. We have already recommended to family and friends and we will be back !

Beach front apartment

Position of apartment is great and a beautiful balcony with an amazing view of the sea. Apartment is large and airy, authentically furnished with all amenities you require. The size of the bed, very small double was the only negative thing we found during our visit. Hope to return next year.

Sea front terrace

The apartment was very nice, very central and the balcony is amazing. The only fault was, sometimes it could get very noisy from the bar downstairs.

Algarve

Très beau séjour. Appartement très bien situé pour découvrir l'Algarve. Terrasse avec vue magnifique et petit appartement bien aménagé. Points d'améliorations : - le lit est vraiment minuscule (140) alors que la chambre permettrait d'accueillir un King Size. Pas très confortable. - Prévoir de nouveaux transats sur la terrasse : ils étaient tous les deux cassés à notre arrivée. Heureusement le salon d'extérieur était sympa.

Fabulous!

This is our second year staying at this getaway. Location is amazing and the patio splendid. So much room. The inside is efficient, clean and modern and roomy. The bathroom, like all European bathrooms is small but not too small. Very nice shower. Owner answers any questions immediately. Best restaurant in quartiera is right downstairs…….Taberna do peixe.

Bel appartement, avec une très belle terrasse

L'appartement est fonctionnel. Parfait pour un couple. Bien que le mobilier de la chambre soit très beau et typique du Portugal, un lit plus grand serait nécessaire ; le lit actuel étant vraiment trop petit. L'équipement de l'appartement est très bien. Un aspirateur serait un plus et un peu de place dans un des placards de la cuisine serait utile pour ranger nos courses. La terrasse est très belle, avec une très belle vue sur la place et les couchers de soleil. L'info vérité est que des bars diffusant de la musique sont situés sous l'appartement ; c'est une réelle nuisance qui ne permet de pas de se poser sur la terrasse et d'en profiter tranquillement. La musique aura été excessive le samedi soir, impossible de dormir avant minuit, même avec des boules quiess... C'est dommage car l'appartement est vraiment bien sinon.

Beautiful views of the ocean!

This 4th floor apartment has a huge deck overlooking the boardwalk/promenade of the ocean beaches In a lively Portuguese neighborhood. There is a restaurant bar below with live music until very late so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The apartment is adequate for two people. For some people the bed will be smaller and firm and the tv will only get 8 Portuguese channels. It was very nice to have an elevator and air conditioner (although there is a nice breeze flowing through so we didn’t need it). We also enjoyed being right in the middle of Portuguese culture and right on the beautiful beach.

Absolut tolle Lage

Die Wohnung ist schön und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, selbst eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden. Der Wahnsinn ist jedoch die Terrasse. Direkt am Strand, nur von der Promenade getrennt, bietet sie einen traumhaften Blick auf das Meer. Mit Lounge-Möbeln, Tisch+Stühle und zwei Sonnenstühlen ausgestattet kann man dort den ganzen Tag verbringen. Die Vermieterin ist nett und jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar. Danke für einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub!
