About this property

Old Village 2 Bed apartment on two floors plus roof terrace. Vilamoura Algarve

The Old Village is about 25-30 mins by car or taxi from Faro Airport. The complex is completely pedestrianised and family friendly and now has Wi-Fi throughout. The gardens are manicured and the fragrances from the plants at night heighten the experience. 24 hour on-site security adds to that feeling of well being. Our apartment is located only a minute or two's walk from any of the bars, restaurants and pools. Access to the apartment is by external stairs to the first floor. Inside is a lounge/diner, open aspect to the kitchen, and a toilet. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower toilet and sink. On the top floor is a large private roof terrace. Vilamoura has several first class golf courses.The beaches in Vilamoura are sandy clean and picturesque. At the marina 5 mins by car, there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. Water sports and boat trips can be booked from here. Neighbouring Quarteira has a weekly market, (bartering is essential). Further down by the beach a daily fish market can be found.

This is the second time that my husband and myself have stayed at this lovely apartment in the Old Village and once again, it didn’t disappoint. Nick has been a superb host throughout the booking process. It is clear that he takes great pride in making sure guests have an enjoyable stay. Location is ideal - just a short walk to the local Spar for essentials and also close to the bars, restaurants and pool area. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area and we look forward to our next visit in the near future.

Lovely Apartment

We really liked this apartment. It had all the amenities we needed. I’ve stayed in quite a few apartments in the Old Village over the years, and this one was definitely one of the best. Great location too. Easy to follow instructions by the host helped with check in too.

Lovely apartment

This lovely apartment is in an ideal location to explore the delights of the old village. The apartment is kitted out with everything you will need for your stay and even has free wi-fi! The apartment is spotless and very comfortable. The old village is an ideal location for a relaxing family holiday. Our children enjoyed the choice of three excellent swimming pools, the on site park and the beautiful gardens. Our family enjoyed the short walk down to the marina with shops, bars and restaurants its great for a spot of people watching

This is the second year running we have rented this apartment. The owners are friendly and helpful. The property is very clean and well equipped. Good quality towels. There is a steep winding staircase so you need too be fit and aware. That's the only

This Apartment in the Old Village is amazing . Everything you would need for use is supplied. Modern spacious and a Great roof terrace. Highly recommend to anyone just wanting to chill Has beautiful well maintained gardens the whole village is stunning with 3 pools, bars and restaurants and a supermarket reasonably priced.Overall experience.....Beautiful and Stunning . The owner is very quick to answer any questions you might have before your visit and just a phone call away should you need him. We had a Great time and made some Beautiful Memories. 💕 Thanks Nick...hopefully be back soon 🌞

Amazing location

The Old Village Villamoura is beautiful. There is no other word to describe this idilic holiday stay. Well maintained properties, nestled in among gardens of Bougainvillea and Hibiscus, complemented by 3 well designed discrete pool areas, bars, restaurants and a supermarket, and even an outdoor mini gym. Very safe for children as there are no cars in the village, and close enough to the beaches and Marina shops and nightlife to make it somewhere you could have a car free holiday and always have something to do. The duplex apartment was perfect for two couples or a family. There are stairs for any less able, but there is also a very private roof terrace. The owners are more than helpful and accommodating; the accommodation is well supplied, bedding for all temperatures! and everything is well maintained and clean. In all a perfect holiday apartment in a perfect location.

Wunderschöne sehr gepflegte Wohnanlage mit vielen unterschiedlichen Haustypen und blühenden Pflanzen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön gelegen, sauber und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Viele freundliche Tipps und Hinweise für den Aufenthalt in der Wohnung und der Umgebung. Die Kinder haben die Pools sehr genossen und waren aufgrund der Verkehrsberuhigung sehr sicher unterwegs. Nick ist ein aufmerksamer Gastgeber; Anfragen wurden immer sehr schnell, umfassend und wohlwollend beantwortet. Vielen Dank und viele weitere zufriedene Gäste.

Had a great time and the apartment was perfect for us. The host allowed us to have a few extra hours on the last day which made such a difference with young children. The only one thing I would say is that I found some of the floors to be a bit sticky in some areas, could have probably been cleaned slightly better but apart from that I was really impressed.Would love to return one day. Thanks again.

Wonderful stay in the Old Village

We have just returned from a wonderful stay in the Old Village. The apartment is beautiful, clean, modern and has everything you need for a great break. It is also very spacious. Nick is a great host, very informative and friendly. I cannot find fault in the stay at all and would definitely love to return. The grounds are stunning and are meticulously kept. The location is great and the host provides a folder with really useful information, including great restaurant reviews. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Perfect in every way

Beautiful pretty location 20 minute walk to marina. We used the quiet pool by the Artisan restaurant which was lovely, one draw back be aware of a daily charge to use the sun beds 4 euros per bed per day.

We fell in love with “ The Old Village” & enjoyed having the restaurants within a few minutes walk. Fairly easy walk to vilamoura & back. Old Village Charm

We stayed at an apartment in The Old Village. The setting is idilic. You couldn't want for anything else.. Our apartment had a roof terrace too. There were 3 pools and numerous restaurants and bars .. I t wasn't noisy however on the contrary, it was surprisingly quiet at night. We were spoilt with a village supermarket literally 30 seconds away!! and only 15 mins from Villamoura Marina... Will definitely go back and recommend!

Apartment was ideal, clean, everything that was needed.We stayed there for Xmas and it was really nice,roof terrace is a real bonus,would be an excellent suntrap in summer. Shop two minute walk away and marina just 20 minutes walk.Overall it was a great stay.

Lovely stay

Peaceful apartment in well appointed location. Excellent facilities locally and apartment well equipped. We enjoyed it, and great host. Be aware of twisty stairs if you have younger children.
