3 Bedroom 3 Ensuite Villa In Old Village, Vilamoura, With Pool, UKTV & Free WiFi

A car will not be necessary when you book your holiday in this fabulous villa. Less than a five minute walk to the popular Old Village complex, the Old Village is a little community in its own right with restaurants and bars, supermarket and internet. Wander around the pretty cobbled streets, and then enjoy a cool drink at one of the open air cafés. During the Summer there is a regular tourist train that you can take from The Old Village to various parts of Central Vilamoura. The beach and Marina are a pleasant 20 minute walk. The villa itself is fully furnished and equipped. The air-conditioned lounge with seating for 7 has a DVD player and satellite TV providing English-language channels. Step straight out of the lounge onto the pool terrace furnished with sun loungers, table and chairs – the perfect place for a relaxing ‘al-fresco’ meal beside your own pool! To the front and side of the house are mature enclosed private gardens, whilst all bedrooms are en-suite.

Municipal Tourist Tax: Please note that Vilamoura charges a Municipal City Tax, which is in addition to our advertised price, is payable to the local authority and is collected at check-in. This applies to all guests over 16, for a maximum of 5 nights per person. From 1st April to 31st October the tax is 2 euros per person per night. From 1st November to 31st March it is 1 euro per person per night. This tax applies to all accommodation in Vilamoura.

Lovely family villa

We absolutely loved the villa. It had everything we needed for a great stay. Plenty of room for our family of six. The kids loved the pool. It’s in such a pretty surroundings, in the old village. Would definitely recommend it.

Great base for a family holiday

This property is ideal for a family stay or couples on holiday togeyher. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, all with en suite. The living space is spacious and light and also has air con! About a 25 minute walk down to the marina but we used uber most days as it was so reasp anle.. the pool area is nice once in the sun!

The villa was fantastic, the pool was lovely, everywhere was spotless and well maintained Short walk to the marina, Wonderful restaurants, bars and nightclubs, local taxis for return trip! Local cafes restaurants and a shop are all really close. The agents were really efficient and arranged airport transfers and luggage storage. I would highly recommend apart from the dates that I want to go!!

Vilamoura short stay

This is a lovely spacious villa. Nicely decorated and all rooms with en suite facility. The pool is not large but certainly adequate and the pool area is a pleasant place to relax. The communication with the agency was problem free and I found their staff to be pleasant, smart and efficient. The old village is a short walk away where you can obtain provisions from a small supermarket and drinks and food in local bars. I can highly recommend this property for a short or long stay.

This was our first time visiting Vilamoura and we will definitely be back. Unfortunately we only had a week and didn’t see or do everything we wanted to (even in the middle of November)The villa is stunning. The location is perfect, it has bunches of character and style and the seating up on the roof to watch the sunsets are a complete wow that we did not have expect.The villa is really well equipped and had everything we needed, it’s a really well thought out property. If you get the opportunity to stay here, please do.

Large and well equipped village

The villa is huge over 4 floors with a large (and deep) pool. The old village isn’t old but is pretty and a 20 min walk (or €3 Uber) to the marina. We didn’t need a car as the taxis were cheap and frequent. The bathrooms and kitchen could probably do with a bit of updating but the villa is big and airy with even a table tennis table downstairs. Plenty of board and pool games available for kids. We had a great time.

Golfers perfect spot

For 6 golfers this was perfect for the following reasons; very spacious, every utility you could want, private pool, BBQ, very comfy beds, en-suites to all bathrooms, internet & air con + a table tennis table. What made it perfect was a 20min walk to Vilamoura marina & a couple of bars/cafes & restaurants within a 3-5 min walk (plus mini supermarket & bakery!). Attentive and welcoming management firm and excellent comms with the owner Eddie which with Covid was needed to keep trying to get there which Eddie couldn’t have been more flexible. Gary

Great location, great value.

We were on primarily a golf trip, 7 adults stayed in the Villa. 4 golfers and 3 non golfing spouses. The managing agency and the owner (Eddie) were extremely attentive to ensure that our vacation experience was positive and memorable. They provided assistance in booking golf courses, insight into area attractions and gave us great dining suggestions. The pool was not heated but with the warm weather, it was a welcome relief. It was a great value, probably similar to the cost of a single hotel room on a per night basis !! thanks Eddie.

Great location.

This place is located on a beautiful Street which was lovely and quiet and peaceful during the day while we were there. There are a lot of steps in the property so if that's a problem you need to look again maybe. It was great having the two fridges one in the kitchen and one in the utility room. Just on road there are two decent restaurants and a small shop for essentials. Uber is the way to go from here to the marina. Needs some updating inside but if you look beyond that it's a great spot . We've recommended it to friends who are going in September.

A lovely villa in a quiet area with some nice restaurants and bars very nearby. Villa has plenty of space indoors. Outside space is a bit smaller than the photos show but is manageable. Pool was very clean and although not heated it was a welcome addition to the hot days. Well stocked supermarkets not too far away (we had a car). Comfortable beds, there may have been a drainage issue in the ground floor bedroom as some days after a rain shower there was an unpleasant smell in both the ensuite and bedroom. Great communication with all involved before and after booking. Great week!

Wonderful Villa!

What a wonderful villa!! We already knew what a fabulous area this villa was in as we have stayed in the same part before. There's a small supermarket 5 mins walk with a couple of bars, restaurant and pizza place. 10 or so mins walk to the marina. So to find such a wonderful place in an area we love was perfect! It was VERY spacious (probably too big for 3 of us 😂), very clean and each bedroom had an ensuite. Which is very useful when you have a teenage daughter- no bathroom hogging! 😂 The pool was a nice size, although we didn't use much as the weather wasn't up to much!! Plenty of outside seating/ sun beds if there are more of you as well. We were spoilt for choice. Communication with the owner & letting company were superb! My only gripe is that we didn't stay long enough!!!

Property not as advertised. Much farther from restaurants than promised. Pool was filthy on arrival and wasn’t cleaned until the last day. Husband swept villa on arrival and filled the dustpan with dirt. No coffee maker of any kind. Agent who checked us in was SO rude it kind of ruined our experience.

Lovely villa in a great location.

We arrived at the villa around 1pm, the letting company met us there so we could leave our cases and go for some lunch until the villa had been cleaned. The villa is VERY spacious, the bathrooms have been updated which was nice. There was everything there in the property that was needed to make it a great stay! We enjoyed most of our days relaxing round the pool, there’s the option to sit in the sun or in the shade throughout the day, the area around the pool is lovely, we used the grassy area too if more of our group wanted to sit in the sun. The gardens were kept really nice! It was just over a 5 minute walk to the local supermarket, and some lovely cafe/bars & restaurants. The Marina was about a 15 minute walk, a taxi is just 6 Euros. We also visited the family golf, we got the train at the stop just below the Villa that dropped us right outside. This was our first time in Vilamoura and it definitely won’t be our last! Nice place to stay

Nice place to stay. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. Beach and marina a little farther but we walked it a couple times. First floor bedroom not air conditioned. They provide fans but it gets pretty humid. Washer but no dryer. Just a drying rack for clothes ( even though it says don’t put clothes outside to dry) 6 of us stayed for 4 days. Each had one towel with no replacements. With weather being so hot, would be nice to have more towels. No pool towels either ( we bought some) Trash was requested to take out daily, but there were no supplies. It would be nice yo have extra supplies of toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags etc. kitchen was well equipped but found it odd there was no coffee maker. Overall we were pleased with our stay.

Very tired and in need of repairs.

The pool was unusable for the first two days. Maintenance people came every day which gave us no privacy. The property was very tired and in need of repairs. I tripped over a loose edge on one of the steps. It was a good job that it was me and not my disabled dad. There was only one channel that was in English on the television and these programs repeated.There were some good points though, everyone who came to do work or solve problems were all very nice. The food and drink, left for us was great, as it meant we didn't have to shop immediately. Clever details were very helpful. It would have been useful to be able to open the garage door to store the mobility scooter.

Spacious Villa

On arrival at the villa we were met by the very friendly rep who showed us round this enormous villa. The villa was very clean and cleaners came midway thru our 2week stay to clean and change the sheets/towels etc Each bedroom has its own en-suite which was great with two teenagers. The villa has loads of space both indoors and out and the gardener/pool man calls in every other day to keep the outside tidy. The location is 5 mins from a small supermarket and great restaurants. Both of which you need to book a table. We didn’t have a car but Ubers are easy to book and very cheap. Overall we loved it here and would definitely recommend.

Vacaciones

El alojamiento es ideal para pasar unas vacaciones, ademas está bastante bien ubicado, la playa, la zona de puerto están realmente cerca de la vivienda, 5min en coche. Estaba a poco tiempo de otras ciudades como Albufeira, faro o portimao, maximo 40min en coche por autopista. Con respecto a la alimentación, sobre todo se oferta hamburguesas, pizzas,… por lo que si queréis comer bien es recomendable salir de quarteira o comprar en el supermercado. Se nota que la vivienda tiene algunos años, sobre todo por los baños, no obstante está muy bien cuidada

I am a Chartered Accountant by trade and intend to retire to this property in 10 years or so.

Why they chose this property

The property was bought from new by my parents in 1994 and I took it over in 2013.

I intend to retire to this property and have visited for holidays at least once a year for 24 years. The villa is in a beautiful and well maintained area with plenty of nice bars and restaurants within walking distance in the season.

Vilamoura is a special area within the Algarve and is maintained to a very high standard by the private civic management company. It is where people come to be seen.

What makes this property unique

Three minutes walk from the Old Village is so handy. there's a supermarket, cyber cafe, and bars and restaurants with a good selection of options.

Just twenty minutes stroll and you're in the sophisticated Marina, with multi million euro yachts in the heart of Vilamoura. Bars, shops and restaurants abound here. It is the place to be seen in the Algarve.
Just a few minutes beyond this and you're at the beach! There are food options, facilities and refreshments right on the back of the sand and if you're too hot and lazy to walk back it's only a five minute taxi! And you can wash the sand off in the private pool!

But, golf is the key. 6 courses within 5 mins drive.
