Beautiful Tuscan Villa with big pool and stunning views

Villa Flavia is a beautiful farm house surrounded by stunning views and olive trees. The house has been restored to a high standard, with many original features such as terracotta tile floors and wooden beamed ceilings. Outside there is a shady veranda with outside kitchen and dining table and seating for 10 people, and a large south facing sun terrace. The house and veranda surround the pool from where you have a panoramic view.

Villa Flavia is situated in the middle of the magical Tuscan countryside, not far from the city of Lucca, in the hills between the walled village of Buggiano Castello and Stignano. The spa town of Montecatini Terme is a short drive, and also close to the beautiful historic town of Vinci, the birth place of Leonardo da Vinci. Florence is less than an hour away and Pisa airport is 40 min. Our local village Borgo a Buggiano is at the bottom of the hill.

Villa Flavia makes a perfect country retreat from which to go off and explore, or just spend the day at the villa taking it easy. The house, pool and terraces are exclusively for the use of our guests and provide a peaceful and private setting. Choose from sightseeing, a trip to one of the many local markets or a night out at any of the numerous superb local restaurants, or simply relax on the terrace, soaking up the views, the sun and a bottle of the local wine.

Villa Flavia has 5 double bedrooms, sleeping 10 comfortably. One bedroom is located in the apartment joined to the house with a separate entrance. We often have groups consisting of 2 or 3 families with children, but have also hosted groups of friends looking for a stunning location to celebrate a special birthday or anniversary.

Bedroom 1 - Main bedroom consists of a king size bed with en-suite bathroom.
Bedroom 2, 3 & 4 – Consist of 2 single beds each either joined or separated, perfect for both couples and children.
Bedroom 5 (apartment) – Consists of 2 single beds together or separated.

There is space to add a cot or other beds for smaller children should you need it.

We offer a range of additional services such as private birthday or anniversary parties, other small ceremonies, even an all-inclusive Tuscan wedding, can also be organised - you name it, Flavia and her team will do their best to accommodate you.
