About this property

Renovated old house with garden and swimming pool (about 15mn from the beaches)

Old house completely renovated in the heart of the historic center of Lunel, 2 steps from the shops.
Private parking space
The house (about 100m2) is fully designed and equipped for a successful holiday. The garden (90 m2) with its secure and heated swimming pool * (Out of season, April May June and Sept Oct All Saints holidays included depending on the weather), for maximum comfort and early or late swimming.
For even more security, the outdoor ladder of the pool is retractable to prevent access by children.
The house has a very beautiful and large open kitchen / living area overlooking the garden through a superb 4m wide wrought iron bay window. Splendid view of a magnificent old building.

Upstairs, the three bedrooms can comfortably accommodate 6 people. The large convertible sofa in the living room even allows a little extra space.

For your comfort, many facilities are at your disposal: 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets (one independent), air conditioning, deckchairs, dishwasher, large fridge / freezer, washing machine, microwave oven, traditional oven, coffee maker, dishes and kitchen utensils


For your pleasure, a swimming pool (about 4x4m) for your exclusive use, a 115 cm large LCD TV, Playstation 3 with games and 2 controllers, DVD / Blue Ray player, Wi-Fi access point, Hi-Fi system Fi, many books and DVDs, barbecue

The bell tower of the Penitents chapel that we see in the 3rd photo only rings on Saturdays around 5.30 p.m. ...

Geographically, Lunel is ideally located. Halfway between Montpellier and NĂźmes (25 minutes), at the gates of the Camargue, and 10/15 minutes from the fine sandy beaches of the Grande Motte
 Nearby too, the Grau du Roi, Carnon, Aigues-mortes, Palavas ... To also discover the CĂ©vennes and its magnificent landscapes, the HĂ©rault gorges, the surrounding Roman remains, the garrigue, the magnificent and wild ornithological park of the Pont de Gau (Camargues)

A charming house!

We had the pleasure of staying for 2 weeks in September, and the house was perfect! Very centrally located - 5 minute walk to the bustling town centre - but very peaceful and relaxing in the back garden. The house looks tiny from the front, but as soon as you go through the hallway, it opens out to a lovely open plan lounge and kitchen. Very airy and spacious feel. The garden is lovely - big enough for us, with sun loungers, shady areas if needed, and the bbq and swimming pool were a real bonus. The house was very well equipped - lovely kitchen. Bedrooms were perfect, and useful to have a small toilet upstairs for during the night, as well as the main bathroom downstairs. But do be careful as the stairs are quite steep! Parking was no problem - the road is very narrow so you double-park outside when you first arrive to unload your luggage (the owners live next door and will meet you on arrival), and then just a 1-minute drive (and 3 minutes walk back) to a private parking space in the next road. This worked really well, and meant we didn't have to worry about where to park each day when we came back from a day out. The nearest beach was 15 minutes drive - Plage du Grand Travers, with free parking. So wide with clear water and beautiful sand! We also discovered 3 others in the area (Carnon, l'Espiguette and Stes Maries de la Mer) which were equally as good. Lots of places to visit - Arles, Nimes, Sommieres (Saturday market), Aigues-Mortes - and we also did a 4x4 trip to the Camargue which was good fun! Didier and Sandrine were the perfect hosts, made us feel welcome, and gave us lots of useful information about the house and area when we arrived. Thank you.

Superbes vacances ! Emplacement au calme, Ă  deux pas du centre ville et donc de toutes les commoditĂ©s (boulangerie, marchĂ©...) Allez prendre une glace (sous les arches) chez BELLO & ANGELI ! La maison Ă  tout le confort souhaitĂ© et les propriĂ©taires trĂšs accueillant. Bus pour aller aux diffĂ©rentes plages comme celle du grand travers. Si vous n'ĂȘtes pas obligĂ©s de partir avec des tonnes d'affaires, c'est aussi rapide que d'y aller en voiture et de galĂ©rer Ă  chercher une place.

À notre arrivĂ©e, nous avons Ă©tĂ© accueillis par Emmanuelle, une personne chaleureuse et disponible.CĂŽtĂ© propretĂ©, un mĂ©nage sommaire avait Ă©tĂ© fait, mais le lieu aurait vraiment besoin d’un grand nettoyage de printemps. Les sanitaires sont dans un Ă©tat catastrophique : vĂ©tustes, abĂźmĂ©s, la lunette des toilettes est dans un Ă©tat indescriptible, alors qu’une simple planche neuve ne coĂ»te presque rien. L’extĂ©rieur, qui nous avait fait rĂȘver sur les photos, a Ă©tĂ© une grosse dĂ©ception. Si la piscine est impeccable, le reste manque clairement d’entretien : pas de pelouse verte, des mauvaises herbes de 40 cm poussant sous la terrasse
 On a l’impression que les photos de l’annonce datent d’une dizaine d’annĂ©es.Points positifs tout de mĂȘme : une belle collection de DVD et surtout de magnifiques livres que mes enfants ont adorĂ©s. La situation de la maison est idĂ©ale, Ă  proximitĂ© d’un marchĂ© couvert quotidien, de deux marchĂ©s extĂ©rieurs hebdomadaires, des plages et de nombreux sites magnifiques Ă  visiter.Malheureusement, la maison n’est pas Ă  la hauteur du prix.

Ein schönes Haus in einer tollen Umgebung

Wir haben zwei erholsame Wochen in dem Haus verbracht. Es war alledem wie beschrieben . Die KĂŒche ist gut ausgestattet und der Gasgrill ergĂ€nzt diese gut. Die klimatisieren RĂ€ume wussten wir sehr zu schĂ€tzen. Der Pool tat gut und wurde gut genutzt. Es ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um die Umgebung zu entdecken.

Vacances en petite Camargue

Nous avons passé d'agréables vacances dans cette maison à Lunel. Le logement est à 7 minutes à pied du centre de Lunel avec ces échaoppes et ces restaurants. Die Lage ist optimal zur Markthalle und zum Strand und sehr ruhig gelegen. Lunel was een leuke plek , gezellige omgeving , lekkere restaurantjes , goede uitvalsbasis voor uitstappen in de streek. De streek op zich viel ons wel wat tegen (waren hier reeds vroeger al eens geweest en hadden een heel ander gedacht hierover). Het huisje op zich was ok (voor de prijs) , wel zag het er op de foto's beter uit dan in het echt. Kleine badkamers maar alles was wel aanwezig. Ontvangst door Virginie was zeker goed. Als je niet voor de luxe gaat is dit zeker ok ....

Maison calme

Maison de ville trĂšs calme avec un joli petit jardin arborĂ© ou l’on n’entend que le bruit des oiseaux. Le centre ville rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ© n’est qu’à 5 minutes de marche. La maison est simple mais confortable. Il n’y manque presque rien sauf peut-ĂȘtre une deuxiĂšme chaise relax car j’ai monopolisĂ© la chaise multi position au grand dam de mon mari 😝. Merci Didier

Charmantes Stadthaus in toller Lage

Das Haus befindet sich zentral in der Altstadt von Lunel. Der traditionelle BĂ€cker, die schöne Markthalle, viele kleine LĂ€den, der Wochenmarkt und sogar der Lidl sind fußlĂ€ufig innerhalb von wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Großes Plus ist der zum Haus gehörige Parkplatz in 100 m Entfernung. Das Haus ist ĂŒberraschend gerĂ€umig und im niedlichen Garten findet man absolute Stille. Wir haben den Pool und den Gasgrill jeden Tag genießen können. Die KĂŒche ist gut ausgestattet. Das kleine Schlafzimmer ohne Klimaanlage empfanden wir zum schlafen als zu warm und haben das Schlafsofa im klimatisierten Wohnzimmer genutzt. Kein Problem. Die beiden klimatisierten Schlafzimmer sind toll und haben bequeme Betten. Das WLAN funktioniert super. Lunel hat eine perfekte Lage um die Gegend zu erkunden. Man ist innerhalb von 15 Minuten an den traumhaften StrĂ€nden. Ebenso schnell im hĂŒbschen Hinterland. Aigues-Mortes, Le Grau-du-Roi, Arles, die Camargue, die Salinen, alles gut und schnell zu erreichen. Wir hatten zwei traumhafte Wochen in dem Haus und bedanken uns auch ausdrĂŒcklich bei Virginie, die uns vor Ort betreut hat und viel dazu beigetragen hat, dass es ein wunderschöner und unvergesslicher Urlaub fĂŒr uns war. Wir empfehlen das Haus zu 100 %.

Rijwoning in het centrum

Oude woning waar hier en daar nog wat renovatie mag gebeuren, er kwam nog extra schoonmaakkosten bij als je het zelf niet deed. Douche was oud en versleten, kleine badkamer. Kleine tuin met leuk zwembad. Airco werkte perfect, op 1 slaapkamer was geen airco aanwezig. Didier, de eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kwam ook direct langs toen het wasmachine haperde. Locatie is perfect, direct in het centrum. Privé parking is niet aan het huisje, op wandelafstand was er een parkeerplaats voorzien. Super mooie omgeving om te verkennen.

Toller Urlaub

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit dort, das Haus ist wie beschrieben, der Kontakt zum Vermieter und die Agentur war super, sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Lage ist gut, schnell am Meer, fusslĂ€ufig die Innenstadt aber auch Supermarkt, BĂ€cker, Obst/GemĂŒse. Der Pool bietet eine tolle Abwechslung zum Strandtag.

Maison bien situĂ©e dans Lunel, proche du centre ville. La fĂȘte de la Pescalune est Ă  voir pour la dĂ©couverte des traditions rĂ©gionales. Prima plek om de Camargue te verkennen

We zijn heel hartelijk ontvangen door Didier, die bij problemen met het zwembad ook meteen bereikbaar was, voor een oplossing zorgde en de volgende dag nog even controleerde of alles in orde was. Het huisje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt (airco, zwembad, terras ...) en ligt heel centraal voor uitstappen naar de zee, Camargue, Aigues-Mortes ... We hebben genoten. Prijs-kwaliteit een aanrader!

Absolute Ruhe in zentraler Lage

Das Haus liegt zentral in Lunel. Überraschenderweise herrscht im Garten absolute Ruhe. Wir konnten den Garten von morgens bis abends genießen, Highlight war der kleine Pool. Das Haus selber ist praktisch eingerichtet , die KĂŒche ist gut ausgestattet, die Matratze war die beste, die wir in den letzten Jahren in Frankreich benutzen durften. Der Ortskern von Lunel einschließlich des großen Marktes ist ebenso fußlĂ€ufig erreichbar, wie kleinere LĂ€den und ein Lidl-Markt. Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub.

Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf in Lunel , In het huis was alles aanwezig wat we nodig hadden , airco’s in de kamer zodat we lekker fris konden slapen 
 Een privĂ©parkeerplaats om +- 100 m , wat in Lunel echt wel nodig is . Op 15 minuten ben je aan de zee en het strand . Ook een zeer vriendelijke eigenaar, die we voor vragen steeds konden en mochten lastigvallen via telefoon of whatsapp . Voor ons zeker een aanrader ☀

Cadre idéal proche de la mer

Nous avons passĂ© un excellent sĂ©jour dans cette petite maison de centre-ville. Nous avons particuliĂšrement apprĂ©ciĂ© le jardin sans vis-a-vis, la piscine trĂšs agrĂ©able, la proximitĂ© avec les commerces (quelques minutes Ă  pied) et la mer, et la place de parking Ă  deux pas de la maison. Merci Ă  Didier, Sandrine et surtout Virginie qui ont Ă©tĂ© plus que disponibles pour toutes nos questions, petites rĂ©parations ou mĂȘme pour nous prĂȘter des jouets de plage ! La maison Ă©tait adaptĂ©e Ă  nos enfants (1 an et demi et 3 ans et demi), qui s’y sont bien plu. Les escaliers nous faisaient peur mais il n’y a eu aucun soucis. L’échelle escamotable de la piscine est un gros plus pour bien sĂ©curiser l’espace piscine, les enfants pouvaient jouer dans le jardin sans soucis. En rĂ©sumĂ© un bel endroit pour des vacances Ă  la mer rĂ©ussies !
