About this property

Elbury Farm Annex, Broadclyst

Elbury Farm is situated on the National Trust Killerton Estate, on the outskirts of Broadclyst. We offer a beautiful, peaceful, nature rich location less than 6 miles from Exeter city centre.

Traditionally a dairy farm it has now begun to take a different direction- with nearly 1/3 of the farm in the process of rewilding. This equates to 90 acres of farmland that has been handed over to nature to take a hold.

The cottage is semi-detached and spacious - consisting of an entrance hallway, kitchen, lounge / diner, boot room (also with direct access to the yard) and conservatory downstairs, whilst upstairs has 3 good sized bedrooms, a large landing and a bathroom.

The property has ample parking and a private, self contained garden overlooking the fields.

Well behaved and house trained pets are welcome - I just ask that all pets stay downstairs. I also have 2 cats which you are likely to see around the farm.

I live next door in the main farmhouse so I am always around for any questions or needs you may have.

Wonderful escape.
We really enjoyed our stay at Elbury Farm. Everything was just as described and it was very clean. It has a well equipped kitchen, with everything you need. There was plenty of storage space for our family of four with a lovely garden overlooking open fields. The property is located at the end of a lane, and it feels very rural but a newly built village just a mile and a half away has a supermarket, chip shop and pharmacy etc. Kathryn, the host, couldn’t have been more helpful with a query we had. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property and we will definitely stay again when we’re in the area.

Lovely family Christmas
We used the cottage for a family Christmas and found it very warm and comfortable. The hosts live next door but didn’t worry us at all but nice to know they were there if needed. The kitchen is fairly well equipped and we managed a full Xmas lunch which was amazing. The only thing I’d suggest that would have useful would have been a few more cleaning materials (spray/floor mop/hoover) as with a dog as well it was hard to maintain the lovely high standard we found the property in

Great Quiet Spot
Great little farmhouse with very peaceful surroundings. We stayed here as it is close to family, so we were able to get everyone together and enjoy a great afternoon in the large back garden. The house is great and the correspondence before hand was excellent and we had a very easy time. Definitely recommend this as a quiet family get away.
