A charming little house built in the 16th century located in the centre of Montignac. A town in the Dordogne best known for its regional cuisine and the "Lascaux caves". The house is spread out over 2 floors, kitchen and dining room downstairs and living room with sofa bed ,double bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It is a 2 minutes walk from the centre of Montignac, its river and its amenities; shops, bakeries, cafes, bars and restaurants. Parking in town.

Dordogne Holiday

We had a wonderful time staying in Montignac - Lascaux. The attractive village is very friendly in a beautiful setting. Our accommodation was excellent. We will be back to enjoy it again sometime soon.

Great stay

Overall really great place. Cosy house for three with all you really need. Good quality furniture and appliances. Very comfortable beds (as well as the couch). Definitely worthwhile, and the owner is very kind.

Wonderful view and location

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our six weeks at Le Petit Lascaux. The view of the village center from the second floor is wonderful. We operated without a car and easily walked multiple times to the Lascaux museum site for tours and/or lunch. Montignac is a beautiful village and this charming old stone home is a wonderful way to feel the history of the area - from medieval to neolithic.

Charming historic apartment

This charming, historic apartment has been beautifully renovated. Immaculate and very comfortable, it is the perfect base for exploring the area. Parking directly in front of the apartment is a bit tricky but there are parking places nearby. Highly recommended.

Agréable sejour

Jolie maison de bourg à pierre blanche avec son escalier colimaçon que mes enfants on adoré -) Bien équipée et décorée avec beaucoup de gout, dommage juste qu'il n'y ait pas de wc au rdc et qu'il soit si difficile de se garer en face (la rue est tres étroite et en pente) - j'ai du me garer à 800m plus loin, donc pas facile avec les bagages. à 5min de Lascaux, à 20 du parc de Thot ou la Roque St Christophe, donc, geographiquement, c'est un tres bon emplacement

TrÚs beau logement, avec de belles pierres apparentes, bien équipé (il manque 2-3 petites choses qui pourraient compléter la vaisselle) idéalement situé dans Montignac. A quelques pas du centre ville, des boulangeries et divers commerces. TrÚs belle région riche en histoire.

Charme et originalité

Le charme de l'ancien et l originalité d'une maison adossée à la roche parfaitement mise en valeur par sa décoration interieure. Il ne manque rien en aménagement et en accessoires pour profiter pleinement de ce gßte. Idéalement placée au centre du village pour y flùner a pieds et découvrir le charme du perigord noir. Logement sympathique mais perfectible

Le logement est situĂ© dans Montignac, du coup l'avantage principal est la proximitĂ© avec le centre ville (1min Ă  pied) et lascaux 4 (15min Ă  pied), par contre inconvĂ©nient, pas de place de parking du coup sur certaines pĂ©riodes ça doit ĂȘtre compliquĂ©. La maison est une vraie pĂ©rigourdine superbe Ă  l'intĂ©rieur, et tout Ă  fait suffisante pour 4, par contre mĂȘme avec le chauffage (sĂ©jour mi novembre), c'est un peu juste dans la cuisine (en bas), mais on ne peut pas tout avoir, le charme de l'ancien et les derniĂšres techno d'isolation, bref un logement sympa, dans lequel il manque deux ou trois petites choses pour qu'il soit parfait. Par contre la procĂ©dure de remise des clĂ©s est vraiment 'froide', pas d'explication plus que nĂ©cessaire, dommage, d'ailleurs on a jamais trouvĂ© les conteneurs de poubelles (un vrai problĂšme Ă  Montignac).
