Tenuta Carcara - Casa del Ficodindia

Ideal for two / three people, the Casa del Ficodindia stands on a gross surface area of approx. 71. Inside the only environment you will find two ancient stone troughs that today are almost a frame for your stay, protected by the old wooden roof with exposed beams.

The Tenuta Carcara farm, which has always been owned by an ancient Sicilian family, covers an area of over 48 hectares, cultivated with certified organic methods. A large part of the farm's surface, due to its peculiar characteristics, is subject to landscape restrictions.
The surrounding Hyblean countryside is colorfully decorated in the alternation of seasons, of soft autumnal hues, of intense winter green and golden summer yellow and joined together, on the horizon, with the intense blue of the sea.
The farmhouse is served by two large paved courtyards, which are overlooked by the houses and some commonly used structures, such as the "stallone", the "carretteria", the garden of over 3. 500 square meters which, if you wish, will will allow you to share your stay with other guests.
The Tenuta Carcara, located in south-eastern Sicily, is a short distance from the most beautiful sites of the Val di Noto, such as Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Scicli, Noto and a few kilometers from the nightlife and the tourist port of Marina di Ragusa, within easy reach of the nearby seaside and bathing areas iblee, from the archaeological testimonies of Kamarina, to the splendid beach of Sampieri and Punta Secca (where you will find the home of Inspector Montalbano). During the day you can reach Syracuse, Catania, Taormina and even Malta, just an hour away from the port of Pozzallo.
