Renovated country house with 3 bedrooms, for 5 people.

This house is protected by the Superintendency as a typical example of an ancient Venetian rural residence and belongs to the current owners for three generations. The most recent part has been restructured respecting the original typology trying to give back the ancient atmosphere. There are ceilings in wooden beams and an ancient fireplace that restore the atmosphere of the peasant family. From the house can be made round trips within the day to Ferrara, Verona, Venice, Padua, Vicenza, Mantua, Florence and Lake Garda.

The residence
The country house "Sotto i vecchi Pioppi" is composed of two juxtaposed bodies, one older, built from the seventeenth century and the other, more recent, built in the nineteenth century. The entire exterior of the residence and the inner part of the most recent wing were the subject of a complete restoration operation respecting the original typology of rural house and was made to restore the atmosphere of the ancient peasant house. The house is equipped with heating, internet and obviously outdoor parking.
The outdoor area of two thousand square meters it is completely fenced with an automatic entrance gate for cars and people. There are willows, poplars, linden trees, maples, oaks, walnuts and many fruit trees.
The park in front of the house is perfect for enjoying the cool in relaxation and silence of the countryside.
The farm as a whole, in addition to the house, is equipped with barn, agricultural tools, 3 tractors, and 10 hectares of land cultivated with corn, wheat and soy.

Guest Access
The whole most recent and renovated part of the house and the whole outside fenced area are available.
The house consists of kitchen, living room with fireplace, study, bedrooms, bathroom.
Guests can freely cook and use all the tools in the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, a microwave and a dishwasher. In the house there is a washing machine.
In the living room there is an old original fireplace but for safety reasons its use is not allowed.
The outdoor area is equipped with a table, benches, garden chairs, sun loungers and a mobile barbecue that is great for grilled meat.
Some bicycles are available for relaxing trips in the countryside or along the Po river.
Your animal friends are welcome.
In addition to the use of the entire house, the price also includes electricity, water, the supply of bed linen and towels.
Nearby, within a radius of four kilometers there are at least five restaurants or trattorias at very reasonable prices. The supermarket is 3 km away.

What to do
In addition to enjoying the house there are many things to do as the residence is located in the center of a strategic area from which many excursions by car, bicycle and on foot are possible. The most appreciated are listed, but there are many others for all tastes.
By car.
From the house you can make round trips in the day to:

- Padua. The city of Sant’Antonio with its Basilica.
- Bologna. The city with the oldest university in Europe and its arcades.
- Verona. The city of Juliet and Romeo.
- Vicenza. The city with Palladio's villas.
- Venice. The romantic city on the water.
- SEA - For those who love the sea there are all the beaches of Ferrara and Sottomarina one hour away by car.
- Mantova. The city of the Gonzagas and the Renaissance.
- Florence. The city of art par excellence.
- Ravenna. The capital of the Roman Empire with its mosaics.
- Abano Terme. With its famous spas.
- Milan. The center of fashion and business.
- Lake Garda with its spectacular views .
- Asiago plateau and the Alps. With their enchanting mountain landscapes
- Euganean Hills. With sweet landscapes, wines and taverns.
- Po Delta The beautiful Italian Camargue
For young people there is a water park just a few km away and the possibility of reaching the large Gardaland playground on Lake Garda.
By bike
The area is connected to a network of cycle paths that are part of the Italian and European network.
On foot
Several routes can be made in the surrounding countryside and along the Po river.

Interaction with guests.
Guests are free to use the house independently. In case of need, but also for advice and information, Claudio and Lucia are always at your complete disposal.

The house is a country house and a farm. The outdoor area is large and presents areas with potential dangers for children. Where possible it has been delimited with visible ribbons and with prohibition signs. It is absolutely forbidden to enter these areas or these areas.
In general, however, parents are required to use the normal supervisory criteria for their children for their safety.
The house has an internal stone staircase that could cause problems for elderly or disabled people. If in doubt, ask for information before booking.
