The hunting lodge of Castle Portos, Airconditioning, an own heated swimming pool
Authentic holiday home on the castle domain of CHÂTEAU PORTOS in the South of France:
- Equipped for 10 people
- 4 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom
- Air conditioning in the entire house
- House full of character decorated in a luxurious country style
- Privative heated swimming pool (not to be shared with other holiday guests)
- Private garden within the 5-hectare castle estate with its hiking trails through the forest
- 4-star holiday home affiliated with Gîtes de France
- During the summer months rent per full week (or per 2 weeks) from Friday to Friday
- Located in a hilly landscape that is characterized by sunflowers in the summer
- At the foot of the nature reserve of the Montagne Noire, ideal for walks or brisk bike rides

- TV flat screen and DVD player

- 2 bathrooms and 2 shower rooms consisting of a sink, a bathtub or a shower, and each with its own toilet
- 3 bedrooms with a double bed
- 1 dormitory for a total of 4 persons (2 bunk beds) with a table football (kicker), ideal for the kids
- Air-conditioning in all the bedrooms, the living room and the kitchen
- Private swimming pool, cleaned wit salt electrolysis, heated with a heat pump and possibility to close with a low hard cover (child safety + it preserves the heat)

Originally Belgians (Flemish) we were already looking a long time forward to change our lifestyle and to practice a profession with passion.
Opening 2 holiday homes in the former coach-house and hunting lodge of the castle of Cahuzac in this beautiful region of southern France is a dream that became true.
We are currently renovating the castle itself so that the glory and atmosphere of former times will revive.
In the large outbuilding (465 m² / 5.000 ft²) of the castle we accommodate 2 spacious and characterful holiday homes, with maximum attention to quietness and privacy.
The left part was formely the horse stables and beside it the carriage house. The right part was the caretaker's house, locally known as the hunting lodge.
The holiday homes are housed under the same roof, but completely separated from each other (internally seperated by a large barn and the garden with a fence of recuperated stones).
They have both a private garden and an own heated swimming pool, without "vis-à-vis" or other inconveniences.
Both holiday homes were rewarded with 4 stars by "Gîtes de France"
