The house of the Templars
The house, dating back to the first settlements of the town, with certain findings up to the second half of the 1600s (excavations of the cocciopesto pavement), is located in an ancient and cheerful village in the center of the town, near the 18th century church and the castle of the XVI century and a beautiful square, where you can park easily. The house is developed on the ground floor and first floor, with a beautiful solar area and balcony. Provided with all the comforts of modern life, finely restored, it has the particularity of the Maltese cross star, very rare in the area and present only in a church in Via Tempio dedicated, in fact, to Santa Maria del Tempio ... like to think that has a strong link with the order of the Templars and the Christian pilgrimage to Santa Maria di Leuca ...
