This was our first trip to Cinque Terra and it couldn't have been better! The apartment was in the perfect location - just a few buildings up from the sea. Very clean
The stay in Riomaggiore was absolutely incredible. Perfect location, well equipped and close to everything. Loved it and will be back.
Definitely recommend this to everyone. Loved it!!
Great location accessed without a lot of steps which is a major plus in this town.
This cheery unit is well appointed, clean and has great beds and bathroom. It is secure and offers a good harbour view and fresh sea air.
It is not a large suite but is very well laid out with good clean and functional furnishings and decore.
Check in and check out was easy. Hosts were responsive and great to deal with.
Highly recommended!
The check-in process was so easy, because Sonia met us at the station and helped us get right to our door. Other tourists that we have seen are struggling on their own with many stairs, but in our case, we had Sonia.
The location is superb. It was just a few steps via the shortcut that Sonia showed us to the beach so that we could watch the sunset.
Please note that at this time the view is partially obstructed by some sort of scaffolding, but we didn’t care.
Thank you so much for letting us stay in such a wonderful location!

This property was absolutely beautiful! We had no idea we could stick our head out the window and see the sea. It was way beyond our expectation. It's been recently renovated and top of rhe line. In my book a 5 star. Being from the US we had trouble communicating to meet Sonia who walked us to the property. They asked to meet us at a bar near the property (which by the way is awesome and we enjoyed), but we had trouble finding. It would have been awesome to have been met at the train station. It would have saved us steps and stress..
Very clean, well supplied with kitchen appliances. A lot of disshes and good quality pots snd pans. Dishwash soap. Very good hair dryer and flat iron. Washing machine and detergent for it. The hospitality was excellent. We had tea bags, cofee, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil. All you need to be able to do basic cooking. And it was warm in the apartment.
We had a wonderful 2 night stay in Riomaggiore. Sonia met us at the train station and showed us the way to the apartment. She was so lovely! The apartment has 2 large windows that we would drink wine at and look out and the harbor and people watch. There is a great little wine/cocktail bar right below the apartment called I Trogi. The apartment was larger than expected and very clean. Bathroom was spacious and loved that they had a washer to do laundry. The train station is a quick 5 minute walk from the apartment and it's very easy to get to all of the other little towns in Cinque Terre. Would definitely stay here again. The town is super quiet in the evenings.
We were met at the end of the tunnel into town by Sonia. Sonia guided us to the apartment and then gave us a tour. One of the best check in processes I have had on VRBO. The apartment is great. You can look out the window at the square below and watch people and the ocean. The sound of the waves fills the whole apartment. The apartment is spotless. It is by far one of the cleanest VRBOs I have rented. It was great having a washing machine and there is lots of space to hang clothes to dry. Or you can take your washed clothes and walk up the street to the Lavanderia (laundromat) and put them in the dryer there. We had an issue with the power going out in the apartment on the first morning. We notified the host and we were able to ascertain that we didn’t think a fuse had been blown. We left for the day and Sonia came in while were gone and the power was back on by the time we came back. A very responsive host with a well cared for apartment. I also appreciated the pillows. After spending time in Rome and Naples in VRBOs with very hard pillows, it was a greatly appreciated to have such soft bed pillows. Soft pillows, a comfortable bed and the sound of the waves made for some great sleeps. Thanks for sharing your property with us.
We had a great stay, the location was really amazing. Lovely vibe in the neighbourhood, very few steps to get to the accommodation which was great..considering the town is on a steep slope and lots of steps to most apartments. right low down near the harbour.. lovely view out the window.. bunk beds are solid and good for older teens.. kitchen well equipped, the washing machine and Italian washing line was a win.. such a special little village..

This was a charming apartment in the heart of Riomaggiore. The beds were the most comfortable of our 3 week stay in Italy with nice, fluffy pillows. Sonia met us at the train station and walked us to the apartment (thank goodness, would have been a challenge to find not being at all familiar with the area, but once she showed us, it's very convenient to everything.) Sonia also showed us around the apartment and answered any questions. There were plenty of basic supplies for all our needs for a few days including a washing machine, drying rack, cooking/eating items, etc. We loved sitting with the windows open over the harbor and listening to the city sounds while enjoying a glass of local wine purchased at the shop around the way.
Wonderful view from the full-length window. A little noisy (you're right over the harbor) but it got quieter later. The window in the one, interior bedroom wouldn't stay closed (the window opens to the living room which opens to the air) but other than that, all was good. I slept in the bunk bed which was very comfortable. I assume the main was also. I would certainly stay again. But if you have problems with stairs and steep hills... you might not want to be in Riomaggiore, or in this particular place. A difficult trek to the unit, but Sonia (a little slip of thing!) pulled one of the pieces of luggage, and met us at the station. Hence finding the place and check in was a breeze.
It was a wonderful stay in a wonderful place. My only slight disappointment was that the whole apartment was not air conditioned. One night was hot. And I certainly would want to be ther in the summer.
Perfect location, near everything you need for a comfortable stay. Host has an amazing home caretaker. Together they are both very responsive to your needs and any questions you may have. The views are amazing and the energy from the town will excite you.
We had a wonderful stay in Riomaggiore at this VRBO. Loads of space and perfect location by the water and the main part of town. Easily walkable to train station as well. Also had a washing machine which came in handy. Would stay here again for sure!
