Great quiet cottage stay
Comfortable and spacious for a family stay and had all the essentials needed. Nice quiet location with walks by the Ford and into Castle Acre. We travelled with a crawling baby and managed fine and used a wooden folding chair in cupboard as a makeshift baby gate for the stairs which was handy. Tiled flooring all downstairs and some steps so toddling infants may find it difficult. We used the highchair but took our own travel cot (although there are 2 travel cots stored under bed). Was lovely and warm inside the cottage and easy to turn heating up and down. Needs a good dust in places but it didnt bother us as the main things like kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. Welcome treats were a nice surprise. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

lovely, peaceful weekend stay
We had such a nice weekend staying in the cottage for my mum's 65th birthday. The cottage is really pretty and peaceful with so many birds tweeting away. It was spacious and private and perfect to get away from it all. A fabulous location with lots of nice walks to Castle Acre village, pubs, the river ( which i think would be lovely in summer!) and the castle/ priory ruins. And only a 30 odd minute drive away from the coast. Thanks so much, the hosts were lovely and left wine and chocolates which was a really nice welcome too :) Would definitely recommend

Great location. Beautiful period cottage with good facilities set in peaceful countryside. Thoughtful touch from hosts leaving a bottle of wine and chocolates. Local pubs, the Ostrich and the George and Dragon, well worth a visit for excellent food and drink. Would definitely consider another visit Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
