Pickles Cottage is a traditional stone-built mill worker's house in Barnoldswick on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border. A charming town in its own right, Barnoldswick is close to the lovely market town of Skipton, known as the "Gateway to the Dales", Brontë Country, the Forest of Bowland and an easy day trip away from the Lake District.

Pickles is an old building but has been thoroughly modernized internally and has everything you need for a pleasant holiday or short break. There's free high-speed broadband and Freeview TV channels plus more. The cottage has full gas-fired central heating and a wood-burning stove.

Cosy cottage in Barnsoldwick

We enjoyed our 3 nights in Pickles Cottage. The property was a home from home with everything we needed for our stay and a great base to explore the surrounding area.

Lovely cozy cottage

Very clean, well equipped, a very welcome bottle of wine, our only criticism was the parking was difficult although we had been advised about this prior to our visit by the owners. The cottage is very well located for visiting all that the Yorkshire dales has to offer, and within walking distance to the pub in the centre.
