About the host
Hosted by Janet McDonald
We are two sisters who have been coming to our family cottage since 1966 when we were small children. Our parents purchased the cottage when there was still livestock roaming in the fold, and we have had many happy holidays here! We now have grand children and share our favourite pastimes in this beautiful area with them.
Why they chose this property
The cottage is cosy but light and spacious. A quiet haven to relax and unwind in. You can forget about time, even your car, and explore some of the most beautiful scenery in the country straight from the door. You remain close to all the hustle and the bustle of this thriving Dales village whilst having your own private garden space for quieter moments.
