Charming and comfortable barn conversion in beautiful Burnsall
Enjoy beautiful Burnsall and the wonders of the Wharfe Valley from your base at the charming and comfortable Village Barn. Retaining much of the character and charm of its original 18th century construction, Village Barn comfortably accommodates up to 8 people with 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms and two large bathrooms on the 1st floor, all centrally heated. The ground floor has a spacious and comfortable lounge equipped with a log burner and a large, 8-seater dining room, also with a log burner. The younger set have their own TV/games room equipped with a Play Station 4 and a selection of games or use this space to watch a DVD or read a book in splendid isolation! The Barn has a well-appointed kitchen with a large induction hob and double ovens, perfect for cooking a large meal for friends and family. A Nespresso Virtuo coffee maker is provided for coffee lovers with pods available against a small donation to Mountain Rescue. A separate utility room accommodates a fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble drier. Outside you will find a sunny barbeque area with outdoor seating. The Barn offers views over the village green and the River Wharfe to the fells beyond.
All within a short walk of the Village Barn is a wonderful pub, a gourmet café and a delectable ice cream kiosk. Across the iconic 5-arch stone bridge is an attractive green, perfect for a picnic and along the River Wharfe you will find a fantastic pebbly beach with shallow access to the river.
Situated on the banks of the River Wharfe, Burnsall is a delightful Dales village with a rich history and because of its picture postcard beauty, Burnsall attracts many couples looking for the perfect setting for their wedding and is also a dream holiday destination for families and a mecca for walkers, cyclists and anglers.
