Lovely original cottage (2 bedrooms) and multiple studio apartments in the adjoining house on the extensive property made this the perfect location for our family of 6 (3 adults and 3 teens). The host was an excellent source of advice on how to navigate Plitvice, where to eat and with suggestions for other activities in the area he could help arrange. All in all, a great property in a great location, managed by a great couple. Highly recommend!

Amazing secluded stay

Traveling with adult children there were 9 of us in total and there was more than enough room. We were met at the VRBO by our host for check in and he was close by if we needed anything. The house and outdoor area was large enough for us all to hang out but so nice to have our private areas to retreat to. Close to hikes and national park! Would love to return

An OK place

This unit was convenient to Platvice lakes which is why we chose it. I was surprised to find that the unit comes with 2 other units in an adjacent home - which was OK, but not ideal. I was looking for a 3 bedroom home where we could be all together. The main house contained many random things, but lacking a few necessities, like napkins and paper towels, which I thought was unusual. Also we were excited to go for a bike ride with the bikes on the property, only to find all of the tires were flat, and no air pump to be found. Overall I would describe this rental as "OK".

Thank you for taking the time to review our property, honest reviews help us to improve our small business. We are left wondering if you have confused our property with another accommodation you stayed in, because the things you described do not add up. 1. Our property is not a 3-bedroom property 2. Our advert clearly states that the property has 2 units and went further to describe the two units which forms an integral part of our offer. 3. Your did not Request nor Pay for bicycle Rental, neither did we provide any bicycle for your use during your stay at our property. 4. Kitchen napkins are provided in our kitchens, perhaps you were not aware but certainly we noticed that someone in your group did make use of two kitchen napkins from the 4 pieces provided. 5. We were at your service during your stay, you said everything was ok when we asked and there was no mention of any of the points you raised here. We make ourselves available to attend to our guests in order to make their stay a comfortable and peaceful experience. We look forward to welcome you again.

Fantastic family holidays at Alexandar cottage!

The property is amazing, surrounded by breathtaking nature, peace and beautiful landscapes and a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. The property has everything you may need to enjoy your holidays (and we were a family of 12 with 4 kids!) and Akuoma is a fantastic host, paying attention to detail and assisting you on any issues coming up. We would love to back :) Totally recommended!
