About this property
RazorBrac SeaEsta - Private Beachfront Home
OVERVIEW
This lovely beachfront home on the preferred North side of Cayman Brac offers gorgeous sunset views and access to the best scuba diving and snorkeling sites near the island. Dive boats routinely drop anchor about 300 feet straight out from the house.
Custom built in 2016, the house features one queen bedroom and bathroom with shower/tub, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a lovely combination dining and living area. The home is decorated with vivid color photographs taken around Cayman Brac by renowned underwater photographer Bill Goodwin. With beautiful tile floors, crown molding, quartz counter tops, central air conditioning, and full-sized washer and dryer, this home has great amenities, including high speed Internet, new flatscreen televisions in the living room and bedroom, and a separate outside shower. Our television features subscriptions to Netflix, Amazon Prime and a streaming TV subscription with expanded sports and news packages.
The oceanside covered porch is the perfect place to drink a margarita or a glass of wine and watch the sunset. In no time, you'll forget the stress of life back home and adopt Cayman Brac's easy, relaxed "island time" lifestyle. Twin hammocks swing in the gentle ocean breeze under the shade of the house's raised structure, which also provides covered parking for one vehicle, and our home comes with "his" and "hers" bicycles for exploring the area.
Our island beach house is the perfect romantic getaway for a couple. It sits at the end of a road near only two other beach houses: a great location for quiet and relaxation. The house is centrally located in Stake Bay within easy driving distance of good restaurants and grocery stores. If you decide to bring another couple or the kids, the house will accommodate two additional people sleeping on a comfortable, eight-inch-thick, queen-sized foam mattress that may be set up in the living room.
ABOUT CAYMAN BRAC
Cayman Brac is located about 90 miles East of Grand Cayman (a 30-minute plane ride) and five miles east of Little Cayman. The island is about 12 miles long with an average width of a little over one mile. Named after its rugged bluff, which rises along the length of the island up to a height of 141 feet (Brac is a Gaelic name for Bluff), The Brac is home to about 1,800 permanent residents. A world-class scuba diving and snorkeling destination, this off-the-beaten-path island also features several caves, rock-climbing, hiking, and a wild parrot preserve. Drive down any of the island roads and you may or may not meet any oncoming traffic. But drive on the left side of the road! After an early morning trip to the lighthouse to watch the sun rise, stop by the fairgrounds to marvel at the parrots. When you don't want to cook, there are several good restaurants on the island. Public sandy beaches combine with the rugged "iron shore" around most of Cayman Brac
makes it distinctive. Everywhere you look, however, you see crystal clear water!

About the host
Hosted by Stan Stockton

Natives of Arkansas, Stan and Rita Stockton named their beach home "RazorBrac SeaEsta" as a tribute to their favorite sports team, the Arkansas Razorbacks, and in recognition of the peaceful sea views available from their tropical paradise. They designed the home, which was completed in October of 2016.
Stan and Rita are both retired and live in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, their hometown. They have two married children and three grandchildren. Stan, an avid amateur radio operator, is licensed in the United States as K5GO and in the Cayman Islands as ZF9CW. Rita is a former elementary school teacher. If you email the owners, they will be happy to send a link to a current video shot from the back porch of the beach house.
Patty, the owner's representative, greets guests at the airport and accompanies them to the property. An American, she has lived on the island for several years and is an excellent source of local information. She should know about the house--her husband was the builder!
