Peaceful Lake Retreat!!

Welcome to peace and privacy on the lake! What makes this great cabin unique for a relaxing getaway is the privacy! There is 200' of sandy lakeshore with 2 canoes and a four person paddle boat that are available for your use. There is a public launch on the lake and you are welcome to bring your boat and use the dock or check with us for the availability of renting a pontoon for the duration of your stay. Nightly rate does not include pontoon. Dock available May - September. In the winter months, we are located directly on the hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails. The entrance to the trails is right across our side yard and there is plenty of room to park your trailer. The private yard is large and level with a bonfire pit next to the lake. Inside, there is a great room with a gas fireplace and cozy seating, a nice size kitchen stocked with all the essentials. There are three bedrooms, one with a king bed, one with a queen bed, and the third with a queen bed and bunk beds for a comfortable night's rest. Also, the 3 season porch gets continual 5 star reviews for its views and comfort. Great restaurants and shopping are just minutes away in Crosslake. If you want more of a city feel, Brainerd is within a half hour drive with great towns like Pequot Lakes and Nisswa along the way! This comfortable cabin makes for a great family or friends getaway any time of the year! This was our second stay with Lynne at the lake house and we couldn't be happier! The place is well stocked with everything you need, very clean, and perfect for a family getaway. We spent our time at the lake swimming, paddle boating, and relaxing in the sun. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are perfect for our large family and communication with Lynne is a breeze. We're looking forward to coming back next year!

Perfect getaway cabin

This was a great stay for my family and I, including 4 adults and 3 kids. The property was perfect size, large back for the kids to run around, comfortable beds, and everything you need for a week's getaway. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, and quick to respond. We would love to come back again next year!

Great Lakeside House

The house, including the kitchen is well furnished with everything you need. Excellent A/C, appliances, and water. Great enclosed and outside patios. The enclosed patio windows and door have full screens.The house property is beautiful, private, and well cared for. Excellent L-shaped dock with bench. 2 canoes plus a paddle boat with life jackets, paddles, etc. are included. The hosts have thought of everything and are easy to communicate with.We plan to rent again!

Fabulous cabin

Lynne does an exemplary job of making us feel right at home. All the amenities that you can imagine are supplied for you. All Laundry needs, dishwasher soap etc, Benadryl, q tips, hydrogen peroxide etc. Our stay was so peaceful yet there is golf and dining 10 minutes away in Cross Lake. Very clean. Great yard for games and fire pit. Lake is Quiet. Great host!!!

Perfect!

Lynne was so wonderful to work with. You cannot ask for a more responsive property owner! The space is so lovely and cozy. The lack of close neighbors makes it even better (if you like that sort of thing like we do). There is a very lovely 3 season porch we were unable to use due to the weather, but it is definitely worth mentioning!!! Thanks for a short but lovely stay!!

$3,300 for the week and we had mice in the cabin! Saw one in the bedroom and mice droppings in several places! We went out and bought mice traps! Totally unacceptable!

We had such a wonderful autumn stay! The cabin was spotless and very cozy — the perfect place to relax and unwind. The large yard was ideal for our kids and dog to run around and play, and the lake was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals, which made our stay even more comfortable. We’d happily stay here again!

We had a wonderful week! The weather was beautiful and the lake calm and refreshing. Check in was easy, as was communication with Lynne. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen was great with nice appliances to use. Lots of catch and release fun off the dock. We hope to return again.

The perfect cabin

Peaceful retreat

This is our fifth stay at the lake house. We only brought our personal items and food. Everything else was provided. It was a little cooler this trip so we really enjoyed the fireplace. Our dog loved sitting on the dock just taking in the views. He also loved swimming in the lake. We’ll be back for our sixth stay.

The perfect place to gather!

If I could give 6 stars out of 5 on all of these categories I would! Our group was continuously blown away by the comfort and care put into this home and the experience for the guests from our hosts! The layout of this home is perfect for a group of friends or family to move from the cozy living room, into the inviting porch, out onto the patio to grill for dinner, and then down to the dock and lake for swimming! The inside was PERFECTLY clean which made check-in and getting settled so easy and comfortable. The guest rooms including the beds and linens were abundant and cozy. We all got great sleep and some of us slept in later than we ever have with the blackout shades down. We weren’t even 2 nights into our stay before we were texting Lynne asking to extend our booking! We can’t wait to return! The only negative is that the home is too comfy so we never wanted to leave and get out and explore Crosby and Crosslake nearby :) Can’t recommend this stay enough! Thank you, Lynne!

Wonderful getaway!

We stayed with our family and absolutely loved everything about this cabin and property! The location is perfect, providing privacy and a large backyard for playing games and campfires. The fishing was great, and our kids loved swimming in the lake!

Communing with Nature

I was looking to get out of the city to reconnect with myself and nature. This cabin is one of my favorite places on earth and only 2.5 hours from Minneapolis. If you are looking for a peaceful lake-life experience, this spot can't be beat. The cabin is comfortable, cozy, well-equipped, modern, yet has rustic vibes. Lynne, the host, is responsive and easy to work with. I look forward to my next stay!

Peaceful

Location of lake home is perfect for a quiet week away. The screened in porch is wonderful for looking out over the lake. Our dog loved swimming in the lake and watching all the fish around the dock. The yard was perfect for playing fetch too. We enjoyed watching the geese, ducks and ground squirrels. We’re already planning our next trip to the lake house.

Cozy cabin vibes with a view!

Clean, cozy, beautiful fall lake view, comfy beds, 3 season porch and an outdoor space to enjoy. Brand new grill made cooking a breeze and the new laundry was a bonus! Breathtaking fog rolling off the lake. Great place to unwind, connect, and explore. Our family took our bikes into Cuyuna- great spot! Nearby towns for groceries and amazing ice cream. Why they chose this property

The peaceful, private setting and comfortable, cozy cabin makes for a truly unique getaway. There is 200' of weed free, private lakeshore. The lake is fairly shallow and the water quality is so clear you can see to the bottom in most areas. There are only 16 other houses on this lake with one end being a nature preserve and there is a public boat launch. Endless activities include fishing, boating waterskiing, swimming, hiking, four wheeling and biking. A 4-person paddleboat, canoe and dock are available for guest use. In the winter this is the perfect spot for that snowmobiling get away with access to hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails right in the side yard!
Crosslake is 5 minutes away and has several excellent restaurants to choose from along with fun shops to visit . Brainerd is less than a 30 minute drive and has a bigger city feel with smaller towns like Pequot Lakes and Nisswa to enjoy along the way. It makes for a fun shopping experience. Crosby is 15 minutes south and is known as "The Antique Capital of the Lakes Area" The 5 mile Cuyuna Lakes State Trail is open to biking and horse back riding enthusists and is within 25 minutes.

This property boasts 200' of beautiful, relaxing lakeshore without neighboring docks being right next to you. The large 1.5 acre lot gives the guests plenty of space to move about. In the winter months there is access right next to the property to hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobiles trails. No more having to load and unload sleds. Great ice fishing lake and perfect area for cross country skiing, snow shoeing and skating.
