"A Little Bit of Heaven" is a bright, open, charming 540 sq ft studio apartment suite with a PRIVATE ENTRANCE to an entire upstairs floor and no one else lives downstairs. The bottom floor has a laundry room and garage storage. Sleeps four in 1 queen & 1 double bed. A tri-fold memory foam floor mattress that comfortably sleeps one is in the closet, as well as a safe and comfy inflatable child-size bed for up to about age 8.

Ten windows fill the suite with light, and provide a picturesque view of the forest and our tidal inlet off the Alsea River where it meets the Alsea Bay. We have installed a keypad lock which opens with a pin number you choose yourself for safety and convenience.

SEVEN FREE-TO-USE KAYAKS (two tandems, four singles & one youth kayak), plus life jackets in all sizes are available to take out every day at high tide right from our property. The design of the kayaks provides great stability, making them extremely safe and easy to use for even novice kayakers, whether fishing or kayaking. The 15 1/2' canoe is available for experienced paddlers. Launch right from our property when the tide is in!

When the tide is out, wildlife visitors can often be seen, depending on the time of year. Most common are ducks, blue herons, egrets, grebes, mallards, eagles and we have had many pairs of mated Canada geese nesting right by our property.

You also are welcome to use our crab traps and clamming gear. Or you can borrow our beach chairs, beach towels, large beach umbrella, kites and beach toys, portable propane barbecue with cooking utensils, portable fire pit and more, take in the beauty of any of the gorgeous, unspoiled beaches minutes away that stretch for miles. Go explore the tide pools or go beachcombing for seashells and agates. Or take in some amazing storm watching, depending on the weather. Both the sea wall and the whale observation deck in nearby Depoe Bay offer spectacular views! You might even be surprised by the sight of a whale passing through any time of year!

We are easy to find with Hwy 101 a mile and a half away, and there is ample room for parking.

INSIDE: Well-equipped kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, stove with two-rack oven, dishes, utensils and silverware, pots and pans, bakeware, basic spices, coffee maker, toaster, crockpot, microwave, waffle iron, teas, regular and decaf coffee, creamer along with several food items to treat and surprise our guests!

Bed lamps on each side of the bed have outlets in the base to easily plug in cell phone chargers or other small electronics.

A futon couch folds out into a full-size double bed topped with an additional luxurious gel memory foam mattress topper. Power strip with USB ports and electrical outlets for laptops and other electronics is available on couch end table.

There is a flat screen TV with Dish, Netflix, wifi, Blu-ray DVD player, 4-drawer dresser, luggage racks, hangers, plush spa robes for everyone, blow dryer and more...

The laundry room downstairs on the ground floor is free to use at your convenience, and includes basic laundry supplies, iron and ironing board. We will refresh your sheets and towels as you wish!

We are set back from the road with a tide-controlled river inlet that borders our property on one side. Sometimes in the day, it may be possible to hear some sound from the road.

LOCATION: Perfect for vacation, right in the middle of everything on the beautiful Oregon Coast with Newport and its Historic Bayfront on one side, and Yachats (listed by travel guru Eric Fromme as one of his Top Ten favorite travel destinations in the world) on the other.

Waldport "where the forest meets the sea" as Alsea Bay greets the Pacific Ocean, is home to unique shops and some great restaurants. You can clam in the bay, crab off the dock, fish in the river, and walk the many gorgeous beaches.

The towns north and south offer great restaurants, shops, museums, lighthouses, charter fishing, whale watching boat tours, and more.

The famous Sea Lion Cave is 30 minutes south, and Depoe Bay, with its spectacular whale watching (right from the sea wall or out on a tour boat) is 40 minutes north.

Waldport is in the middle of it all!
