The Huckleberry Lodge offers four bright bedrooms, two cozy living room nooks, a large mud room for all of your summer and winter sports gear, and a private backyard matched with a relaxing veranda. Whether you’re thinking about a week long getaway or just an exciting weekend away, the Huckleberry Lodge is the perfect place to be!

There are mountain views from every window and you have easy walking distances to all local attractions from Fernie’s Annex neighbourhood. If you’re a biking or hiking fanatic, or even just a lazy-day stroll kind of person, there’s the close by Annex Park riverside walking path and connected curvaceous mountain trails which wrap around the city and always seem lead to main street Victoria Avenue where the restaurants, shops, and bars offer a local treat.

Two of our favourite restaurants, Yamagoya Sushi and The Curry Bowl are steps away.

All properties are equipped with decibel monitoring software. Our neighbours would appreciate you respecting our zero tolerance policy to noise complaints and the quiet time rules being respected.

Big family visit

We had 11-12 people staying in the house and it was extremely spacious, well kept with lots of areas for sitting/congregating. The location is exception for getting around on foot. Wonderful stay!

Myself and a group of friends stayed here for a three night getaway and it was fantastic. Excellent location from all of the restaurants and grocery stores. Very easy to find. A big enough property that you can have plenty of people without feeling crowded at all.

I was impressed by the amount of space available for a large group as well as the convenient location to town as well as the river which we walked to everyday. Lots of parking. Quiet neighbourhood. Very responsive hosts!

The kitchen wasn’t stocked very well………most VRBO’s we rent have basic spices, better pots and pans……it’s functional but wouldn’t take much for it to be similar to what’s normal. Overall a nice place and communication was easy w manager and would certainly rent again! Todd

Great location & nice house

The house was good & clean, but had no a/c so was quite hot! They had lots of fans but still really hot as we had amazing/sweltering weather! Enjoyed the hot tub & wrap around deck! Also a very Nice location-close to all amenities but off the main road on a fairly quiet area not a lot of thru traffic! Was a fun vacation for us just hard for upstairs people to sleep in the heat!

great location and house for a large party!

we really enjoyed our stay at huckleberry lodge. It was very easy to walk anywhere in Fernie and it was clean and ready for our group when we arrived. The upstairs bathroom sink needs to be unclogged, it would instantly fill so we were using the bathtub to brush our teeth. You may want to also include some instructions about how to turn on the white lights hanging above the deck, it took us a while to figure that out, but that was our only complaints!

Fantastic

Very clean and well laid out for a large group. Convenient location and quiet neighbourhood . Beds were so Comfy, maybe the mountain air but everyone slept like babies! Hot tub wasn’t great when we arrived but one message and it was quickly remedied for us to enjoy the rest of our stay. Only complaint is having to drive our garbage to containers in town. The cleaning fee should include garbage disposal. It’s a small detail but we would definitely book again.

Fernie Ski trip

Great location. House was big and a perfect ski chalet. That being said this is run as a business. It's not a traditional VRBO with a private owner. Not much different to dealing with bureaucracy of a hotel. *Please clean your oven. it was unusable.
