Beautiful Cornforth Green

This property is well located on the village green which is a conservation area. There is a handy pub next door. It's a few miles to the Park and Ride for Dunham, which is really great at £2 per person . The house itself is spacious with ample room for a large group. The heating was effective and there was lots of hot water. However the house could do with lick of paint and a deep clean. There was an odd assortment of crockery. Not enough of certain items if 12 folk were to stay in the house. The beds are adequate, but not the most comfortable. The showers work , but do not spray well. There is ample parking, but the driveway entrance is very narrow. We had a lovely few days away. Durham itself is gorgeous with lots of lovely places to eat and historical sites to explore. Great for walkers.

Lovely large property in a picturesque location. Ideal for parties with young children & dogs.

The house suited our party of mixed ages and 2 dogs. Although temperatures were average for August bedrooms in loft were very warm. Shower in master bedroom was a let down as was locked games area in garage although we appreciate this was due to covid restrictions. However, the trampoline in the garden was a most welcome surprise. Overall a very pleasant holiday.

Church view

Lovey setting in a small village. Residents very friendly and chatty. Pub next door also a bonus and quiet. The house itself was lovely and fitted our needs but in need of a lot of love and attention. The showers were like having a wash under a hose pipe, no spray what's so ever. No welcome pack with any information about the house, codes for wifi etc or about the local area. A nice few days away with the family after a rough 18 months
