The beautiful Mersea Island is just 3 miles away, home to great restaurants and water sports. Abberton Reservoir is the fourth largest reservoir in England, with thousands of geese and wildlife visiting each year. There is a walk around the reservoir along with hides in which to birdwatch.

The Coach House has fabulous views across the Essex countryside with a ground floor country kitchen and a modern bathroom with a shower cubicle. There is a grand master bedroom upstairs making it a haven in rural Essex. There is a on-site café available for breakfast, lunch, afternoon teas and early evening meals, if you fancy a little light exercise then why not book a session in the fitness studio (book direct with owner).
