I bought my parents a trip away at this cottage for their wedding anniversary. They had a lovely time, really nice cottage, very clean and beautiful views. The owners were really helpful, very quick communication and very friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here for anyone considering it!
This is a beautiful little house that is absolutely immaculate in every way. We often stay in self-catering houses and when making cups of coffee or using the cutlery feel that everything needs a good wash. Not in this case - everything was spotless including all elements of the kitchen, the bedroom, the bathroom and the external areas. We particularly loved the sparkling tiles in the bathroom.
When away, we always look for a comfortable bed, a shower that works properly and good internet. 10 out of 10 in all areas.
The little terrace was a super little sun trap and there was sufficient safe space for the dog around the house. We also found some amazing walks on the doorstep and the two of Delph had some lovely little pubs that were very welcoming.
Our only minor concern, but that does absolutely not impact the rating, was the access road, which is quite steep. Our car is not suited to this and struggled. We would definitely return over the winter, but for this. However, we do intend to return in the spring when the weather is more predictable.
I stayed here for 4 nights while on a training course nearly. Lovely quiet cottage and a picturesque location. Will definitely stay again. Real sun trap of a patio too.
I stayed here for six days partly for a virtual event and partly to escape to some peace and quiet. The view from the property is really nice as you take in the valley below. The property is very clean with nice style throughout. If you need wifi, it was solid through my virtual event with was extensive (12+ hours a day) All-in-all, a great break.
From first contact and subsequent emails, communication with the owners was 100%.
Great welcome by Julia. Amazing accommodation. Everything was there to make our stay like home from home both inside and out including welcome champagne and cup cakes.
Scenery breathtaking.
Local villages very good for mooching and for restaurants/ pubs and takeaways. Leeds ( where we were visiting ) was 40 mins away.
We have stayed in numerous home and away places and this was up there as one of the best.
Would definitely recommend and also we will be back again without a doubt!
