We have stayed in this property for 2 weeks in August. We were greeted very cordially by Francesca of Sea and Country Villas who provided us with all the useful information for our stay. We enjoyed the pool with mountain view as well as the quiet. The place is really fabulous near to Mountains, Rivers, Lakes, Beaches ! We could not be luckier

Wonderful holiday

This modern house is located behind the Monti's Castle. The property has a spectacular view over Apuan alps. The house is very nice decorated and very comfortable. It is the perfect location for visiting the Tuscan towns and Ligurian coast. Francesca was a wonderful host with helpful advice of restaurants and sights. All in all we really recommend the house and would book it again. Dave

Objekt ist deutlich abgewohnt

Da wir von Vermietern noch Unterwäsche in den Schränken vorgefunden haben, bei Kosten für die Endreinigung von 200 €, haben wir alles nochmal desinfiziert! Kühl- und Gefrierschränke waren total vereist, die Gummis schimmelig und der Innenraum schmutzig. Essensreste waren auch noch drin. Toilettendeckel defekt, hat man auch beim Einzug festgestellt, Reparatur Fehlanzeige. Filteranlage vom Pool schaltete nach 1-2 Stunden ab, Elektrik defekt. Kein Versuch es zu reparieren. Die Matratzen waren total durchgelegen und fleckig, ebenso die Polstermöbel im Wohnzimmer. Nicht alle Fensterflügel ließen sich verriegeln, Griffe waren zum Teil defekt. Die Dachrinnen waren verstopft, bei stärkerem Regen lief das Wasser mit Schmutz direkt in den Pool. Auf die erste Reinigung mussten wir 2 Tage warten, die Zweite durften wir ohne Einsatz des Roboters selbst machen. Insgesamt ist das Objekt dringend renovierungsbedürftig und den hohen Preis nicht wert.

Ikke imponerede, og det lugtede langt vær. At der bare skulle tjenes penge! Toilletbrættet var gået i stykker, lyset i poolen virkede heller ikke- pool pumpen kørte heller ikke, så poolen blev hurtigt ulækker- huset er bestemt ikke 30.000kr værd for en uge

Dejlig villa, velegnet til to familier. Fint køkken, udendørs grillområde. Meget børnevenlig pool uden dyb ende. Kort til indkøb (ca. 10 min i bil til stort supermarked).

The stay in Villa Il Nido has been an excellent experience! The hosts are really extraordinary, as well as the setting and the facilities. The Villa is in a wonderful garden with a stunning view on Castello Malaspina and has all services and infrastructure for having reunions or parties. We enjoyed every part of it and were amazed to be able to spend some time in this historical place.

Memorable holiday

I would highly recommend Villa Il Nido to anyone who is looking for a memorable holiday! We have two young children and this holiday was perfect for us all! The property was restored and maintained to a fantastic standard with luxurious touches to add that special charme from home feel. It is spacious, comfortable and fitted with mod cons. I know that I speak for all my family when I thank you, and all your staff, for making our stay at Villa Il Nido so enjoyable. This was a special occasion for us since my wife and I were celebrating our golden wedding anniversary. Apart from the small inconvenience of the leaking water due to the exceptional dry season everything was perfect. Bedrooms and kitchen were very cleaned. Restaurants and supermarkets are just a few km from the house. All was great ! We recommend this property to all.

Peaceful, gorgeous Villa

We felt very relaxed and comfortable in this beautiful home. The inside of Villa is comfortable and spacious , on the outside the pool is nice and the view is marvelous! the Tuscan countryside is quaint and the people are very nice and friendly, even though I only knew a few Italian words. People in the restaurants and grocery store all spoke some English. Francesca was there to greet us when we arrived and met us to check out. She gave us some incredible recommendations to restaurants and wineries. She was very responsive and accommodating. I already want to go back!

Lovely Villa with a beautiful view

We Booked the villa il nido in April with my family, it was the first time any of us had visited Italy and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Villa provided with nice and spacious accommodations, the kitchen is fully equipped, the veranda is nice and we really enjoyed barbecue. The Lunigiana is fantastic, the Villa has a view spot over Alps and Monti's castle. The pool is completely private and great fun for grown-up children. Sea and country villas manager Massimo did a great job often helping us with every request. I Would like to raccomend this villa for everyone who like peace and relax staying.

We had a great week in a beautiful villa, despite a barking dog and water shortage!

Thanks to Francesca and Massimo of SCV, the problems we had with the dog and the water shortage were solved in a speedy and satisfactory way. We also got a small refund because of this. The villa is very comfortable and the view spectecular. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Wonderful vila

Wonderful villa in the heart of Lunigiana, between Tuscany and Liguria. A perfect location for exploring both regions without driving too much. The rooms are well furnitured and simply fabulous. Local restaurants, shops and wineries were everywhere and very good. Sea and Country Villas Agency was very helpful with recommendations on places to see. We had an excellent holiday definitely ! Charming, Tuscan villa located in the heart of Lunigiana. Fabulous location for touring the hills of Tuscany. Massimo was friendly and helpful. Villa Magnolia is a Top renovated Liberty style Villa. Stylish with modern and antique comfortable furniture. We had romantic dinners and enchanting swims in the pool by night. peaceful and quiet

Our experience (8 people, extended family with children) at Il NIDO was very favourable. The villa is a modern house. Massimo was very welcoming and helpful . Do note the pool which has a wonderful view on its own . The location is superb, less than 30 km from Cinque Terre and few mins from the beautiful beaches of Lerici and Fiascherino. All in all, a very pleasant experience which I would recommend. Rupert & fam :)

Simply Fabulous !

The Villa was simply perfect. Well furnished, very clean and MASSIMO was the perfect host. He arranged for us to be picked up in PISA , he arranged Wine Tours and spectacular cruises in CInque Terre for us. He made everything so easy for our group and it all went off without a hitch. We have and will recommend his villas. Thank you Massimo for making our visit a pleasant one... Sea and Country Villas is really the agency which makes the difference !
