Gorgeous, modern, spacious lodge house

Taigh Na Frithe is a 1 bed (kingsize) apartment on the edge of Fort Augustus, located at the southern end of world famous Loch Ness.

This apartment developed in 2019 is perfectly formed with a big comfortable bed, built in wardrobe, 2 person shower, large comfortable sofa and all the mod cons including washer dryer, dishwasher, microwave and TV/ music system.

The apartment has lovely views via full wall french windows which open out onto the forecourt and countryside beyond.

The town is a mere 10 minutes walk and is well served with restaurants, cafes, bars, shops and tourist attractions which include a certain monster.

Great place to stay

This is a lovely place to stay, warm, all conveniences available, comfortable, with a great host. Fort Augustus is also a very good base for hill walking.

What a lovely stay we had here! It was a home away from home, and the host was so friendly! Right from check-in, Kyle, the host, welcomed us to show us around the cabin. It has everything you would need in a vacation stay - comfortable bedroom, living area, spotless bathroom, full kitchen. We will definitely stay here again if another trip to Scotland is in the cards (hopefully in 2-3 years). We can't stop raving about this place to our family and friends! Thank you, Kyle, for making us feel so welcome! You have a lovely place!

The lodge is well equipped and is in a good location, although it took us longer to walk to Fort Augustus than we expected. The owner is currently working on the outside of the lodge, but no enclosed space for our dog was an inconvenience. Overall a lovely home from home

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und absolut sauber. Sie ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für den Aufenthalt braucht. Die Lage ist ebenfalls ideal – in nur etwa 15 Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß Fort Augustus und damit auch Loch Ness. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die sehr netten und zuvorkommenden Vermieter, die direkt nebenan wohnen und jederzeit ansprechbar sind, falls etwas benötigt wird. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Perfekte Lage

Unser Aufenthalt war von Anfang bis Ende super. Es ist in der Unterkunft alles da was man braucht und sie ist wirklich schön eingerichtet. Kyle wohnt direkt nebenan und ist hilfsbereit. Wir haben viel unternommen, die Lage ist perfekt.

The accomodation was great, it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The surrounding area is superb, we spent a day at glen Affric which was amazing with the autumn colours. Thanks to Kyle for making ua feel very welcome.

Fantastic Stay!

We stayed at Taigh Na Frithe for 4 nights and had a fantastic time. The communication before and during the stay was extremely helpful and Kyle was extremely accommodating. We were really impressed by the cottages modern finish, especially the kitchen and bathroom, the massive bed was also a great addition. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. It’s only a short 15 minute walk into Fort Augustus which has 2 cosy pubs, some lovely gift shops and the Loch Ness cruise. We cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning. Thanks Kyle!

Lovely accommodation

We’ve had a very enjoyable stay (4nights) in this property and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable place to stay. A great base for traveling around and Fort Agustus is a lovely village. The house is very well equipped, the bed is huge and comfortable. Easy to find, very quiet and peaceful. Kyle has been very helpful and accommodating.

We stayed for one week in fort augustus and had a fabulous time. The property is well equipped and a perfect location for exploring the surrounding Highlands. Fort Augustus is a lovely village with all the local amenities you could require.Supermarkets like Aldi or Morrisons are in Fort William which takes about 40 mins travel time...you can book a delivery slot however we were unable to get one for 14 days so I would suggest organising this in advance or taking shopping. That being said you can get shopping locally just not the selection or cost you are used to paying. We took our English bulldog and the property was very dog friendly, the surrounding areas too..Lots of pubs and cafes to sat outside 😑. Kyle and Nick were really helpful however we had no problems with this property. Thanks for a lovely stay!

A wonderful getaway

What a lovely property. Plenty of parking and although close to a main road, you don’t notice any traffic noise. Ideal location for heading up to Loch Ness or down to fort William on some incredibly scenic drives. The property has every thing you might need for a short trip and we loved every minute of our stay here.
