Voir la Mer - Grotto Bay
This beach house is very comfortable, it offers a lovely winter break with a cosy fireplace, a large open-plan living area and a sunroom for viewing ocean sunsets. There are three bedrooms, the main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a king size bed. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has a single bed with an extra pull-out floor mattress. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a washing machine, tumble dryer and chest freezer which are also available on site. Enough parking is available for 4 vehicles. There is also a large patio with a sheltered built in bbq.
Guests have access to all amenities in the house. The house has a small laundry, including a washing machine, tumble dryer and plumbed basin. Guests generally have access to all three bedrooms, subject to the booked guest total, as well as an outside built in bbq.

Hello, my name is Thomas. Thank you for choosing our home in Grotto Bay. My family and I love travelling and Grotto Bay is one of our favorite destinations to date. Grotto Bay is a private nature reserve located only 1 hour's drive from Cape Town airport / city centre. It offers many attractions from local wine tasting, hiking, bird watching and a private beach.
Why they chose this property
Relax and enjoy a typical South African bbq while watching the sunset over the ocean. Periodically whales can often be seen in the distance spouting and breaching from the relaxed confines of our sunroom. Our two young children love the safe environment where they can ride their bikes and go for walks along the ocean shore exploring the many rock pools Grotto Bay has to offer.
What makes this property unique
Our home is peaceful with panoramic views of Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean. From August to September the annual bloom of West Coast flowers accentuate this view. During winter there is a lovely fireplace for those romantic getaways.
