About this property
Unique, Off- Grid Beehive Pod at Westcote Glamping
Situated on a working sheep farm in the heart of the Scottish Borders Westcote Glamping's Beehive Pod is a one-of-a-kind unit built in Cumbria.
Compact, quirky and off-grid the Beehive sleeps four adults comfortably (bunk bed and double sofa bed) and meets your basic needs with a fridge and small hob powered sustainably by solar panel electricity and locally sourced gas and external eco-toilet and shower.
As with all our units you have your own BBQ and fire pit, the opportunity to use of our shared outdoor kitchen facilities (with an oven), and at an extra cost book one of our four wood-burning hot tubs - contact directly to book!
Notes:
No excessive noise after 11 pm.
Dogs are welcome - £5 charge per dog, maximum 3 dogs.
Hot tubs are for exclusive use from 5pm until midnight, subject to availability and at an additional charge.
A complimentary bottle of Prosecco is provided for guests staying three nights or more.
Solar power means that the plugs power are dependant on weather. Guests can use the plug point in the outdoor kitchen if the pod's solar battery is low to charge phones, dry their hair etc.
