About this property
Hemlockglade Amazing pet friendly cottage , hot tub ,logburner,enclosed garden ,
Set in the little village of Roos on the East coast of Yorkshire ,
Dog friendly pub s, 3 miles from the beach .
Kingsize bedroom with original vaulted ceiling and shower en-suite ,smart tv , blind and curtains .
Second bedroom has a small double bed and tv
Cosy lounge with original beams , oak floor and beautiful log burner .
Kitchen has wooden floor , oven , hob , microwave , fridge/freezer, washing machine , kitchen table with seating for 4 , double patio doors with wooden shutters leading out into the garden .
Garden is fully enclosed with a 6 foot fence , outside furniture , large summer house with beautiful hot tub , velux windows , seating area . Bar stools, bar and optics . Gas bbq .
Garden is compact but a lovely sun trap with lots of bird song , great to sit, relax and chill
Roos has a post office and shop , beauty parlour , hair dressers and an amazing butchers and deli , also Roos arms which is a lovely country pub with a cosy fire . Or the Black horse , both with in a minutes walk .
We named the cottage hemlock glade as further along the road is Roos church , this is where the author Tolkien (lord of the rings )went with his wife Edith and here she danced for him in the hemlock glade which inspired him with the characters beren and Lucien , he was stationed in this area during the war .
We are close to Spurn Point nature reserves which is amazing for bird watchers ,, Burton constable hall , Withernsea , mappleton , hornsea , Bridlington and Beverley
