The panoramic street of Girolamo Santacroce connects the Vomero district with the historic center. Along the way and in the vicinity of the apartment you will come across the Viviani Park (a large green heart that contributes the union of the two districts) very young and little known compared to the other Neapolitan parks and woods. The avenues that rise above the city and the panoramic glimpses of the gulf, and the species of plants of the Mediterranean maquis (rosemary, olive and pine) make it a naturalistic destination to visit. The nearby Via Salvator Rosa (where the line 1 of the Naples hill station is present) then joins the road artery to the historic center, with Corso Vittorio Emanuele on the right, while on the left the area of Materdei (with the famous pizzeria Starita) and the adjacent national museum and consequently the famous Piazza Dante. The district of Girolamo Santacroce enjoys the residential and natural tranquility of the hill of the Vomero district, and the easy access to the landscape and archaeological and historical beauties of the historical center of the city.

Living areas are spacious but need maintenance. Plastic folding chairs in kitchen and dining areas are a turnoff, as was the very old, soggy couch. Property manager was helpful. Great view from balcony. Appliances were modern, kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. Neighborhood is a bit grungy, but still felt safe.
