M02A - Modern 2Bed patio apartment in Hyde Park

Summary:
Two bedroom apartment that sleeps 6 people. The flat is in a great location - only 7 mins walk from Bayswater and Notting Hill stations. There are plenty of nice cafes and restaurants around the area which offer a taste of authentic London. A stylish decorated patio makes this a very unique flat.

The Space:
The flat is located in west London, in the Bayswater/Notting Hill area. Hyde Park - arguably the world's most famous park - is located just 5 minutes walk. Rent out a bike and spend many happy hours exploring this amazing green space.
The living room sofa turns into a full double bed and will comfortably sleep 2 adults. It also has a single sofa bed.
The base price covers only the beds with 2 people per bed. If you want to make use of the sofa beds there will be a £30 fee, which is the fee the linen company charges.
The beds in each room are comfortable and all of them come with crisp luxury linens.
The kitchen has all the amenities which you may need for your stay. In the bathroom, you will find white fluffy towels and toiletries. A hair dryer is available. The flat is fully equipped with modern amenities.
If you have a family and bring your little ones to stay in the apartment, a baby bath, high chair and cot will be available for you to use.
If you require cleaning services during your stay, this could be arranged for an extra cost.
I would like all my guests to enjoy the flat as much as I do and make their stay as pleasant as possible.

Guest Access:
The guest will have the entire use of the apartment to themselves

The apartment is a lower ground flat. with one flight of stairs down to the front door.

The Neighborhood:
You have access to three tube stations here - Notting Hill Gate (Central line), Bayswater (Circle line) and Queensway (Central line). Kensington Palace, which used to be Princess Diana's home, is about 15 mins walk from the apartment. There is so much to do here - eating, shopping, pubbing, movies! Explore the famous Portobello Market where you can get lovely antiques and vintage clothes. There are lots of little food stalls and cafes to duck into if you get hungry. For a more upmarket setting walk to Westbourne Grove which has many chic boutiques and cafes. Try the food at Daylesford's which is a farm shop.

Getting Around:
You have access to three tube stations here - Notting Hill Gate (Central line), Bayswater (Circle line) and Queensway (Central line).The heart of Notting Hill can be reached within 10 mintues walking.
Then coming from Heathrow, you can take the Heathrow Connect (cheaper than Heathrow Express) to Paddington. From there take a short taxi ride home.

- It is essential to know the exact number of guests arriving to have the amount of beds ready according to this.
Please note a security deposit protection is enabled against household incidents. The guest does not pay any amount when they make the reservation. No charge will be put forward unless a claim with the relevant proof is made to Airbnb.

Long weekend
Enjoyed the place. Location is fantastic in a quiet neighborhood en near two tube stations. Many things around like grocery stores, pubs and good restaurants. The place is clean and tidy, however some maintenance could be done when looking at the floor, the outside space and some other bits and pieces. In general all was well equipped and nothing misses in the apartment. Definitely works.

Great neighborhood location, but property needs updates
We stayed five nights with two younger kids (6 & 8). We loved the neighborhood with schools on the same street, easy access to the tube, Kensington Gardens and tons of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance for little kids. The property was fairly spacious for Central London and hosted the four of us well. Unfortunately, the furniture, walls flooring, fixtures, etc. were showing heavy wear. It photographs bright and colorful, but feels a bit dingy and dirty in person. Had that lipstick in a pig feel. We were also there during a heat wave and it was very hot with limited airflow on the lower level and only two fans (one broke). Okay value for the money, but I'll probably look elsewhere next time in London. Owner communication and transactions we very smooth throughout. No complaints there!

My family very much enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect location. Check in and check out were very smooth. Ann was accommodating and attentive. The flat was definitely cozy for our family of 7 but we made it work. Definitely recommend.

Dans un beau quartier de Londres
Le logement est très bien situé et très pratique, nous étions 7 et nous n'avons pas eu l'impression de nous marcher dessus. Pas de nuisance concernant le bruit. Quelques travaux lié à l'humidité serait à prévoir, mais cela n'empêche pas un logement très propre. Je recommande.
