This is a great apartment with a lovely location. Bus and train stops were very convenient. Lots of shops nearby. And the apartment was spacious with great amenities. It also has a lovely balcony view. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!!

Great place for family stay

We had a great time in London as a family of 4. Place was clean and comfortable. Close to grocery store and ethnic restaurants. Walk from train station was around 10 min. Thanks for hosting us!

Amazing!!!

This was the perfect place for our family to stay for our eight days in London. It was our first trip to London it was in the perfect area that was easy for us to commute to all the places that we wanted to go and visit. The property owners were kind considerate easy to talk to easy to get in touch with. The apartment was clean and comfortable definitely would stay here again I would definitely recommend it to anybody who would be asking!!!

Lovely, well-equipped penthouse with easy transit access.

Jinny and Steini's flat was lovely. We spent 5 days here with 5 adults, and the flat was spacious, well-equipped, and a great headquarters for exploring London. The flat is walking distance from the Westbourne Park and Royal Oak tube stations, and very nearby several bus stops allowing quick transit to Kensington Park and Paddington Station. We especially appreciated that there were 2 bathrooms, comfortable beds, and an elevator so we didn't have to haul our stuff up to the 5th floor! Check-in and check-out were totally painless. Would definitely recommend this VRBO!

Stunning! Close to the centre, comfortable and spacious. Nice ethnic neighborhood.

We couldn't have found a better flat! Close to the tube and even closer to a bus stop, that connects directly with the city centre. A very cozy and spacious place, equipped with every imaginable comfort, like a washing machine, a big shower, a smart TV (with the possibility of connecting Netflix) to relax after a long day of walking, but most importantly, two USB ports directly attached to the wall, that have revealed themselves very useful, as some our adapters didn't work. The neigbourhood, which is very close to Portobello Road and Notting Hill, is very nice, full of cheap ethnic restaurants (we highly recommend the Pars). The owner has always quickly answered all of our questions, very kindly. The only issue is that the sofa isn't the most comfortable to sleep on. In conclusion, we are strongly satisfied with the house, the neighbourhood and even the owner. We absolutely recommend it!

Comfortable flat in convenient, family-oriented neighborhood

We stayed here for 3 weeks and found this apartment very conveniently located next to a number of friendly grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, and much more. Buses that go to Euston Station and Victoria Station stop right outside the flat, so we were able to get around very easily. Within a 12 minute walk we could be at one of two tube stations: Royal Oak or Westbourne Park. One of our teens uses a wheelchair, and we found it easy to navigate around the neighborhood, and the modern elevator made access to the 5th floor a breeze. The flat itself offered all that we needed. It was extremely well-stocked for cooking, cleaning, and comfortable living which we appreciated greatly. We also enjoyed the lovely view from the 5th floor. We enjoyed watching the sunset over a distant bridge and watching the clouds roll through. We felt safe in the family-oriented neighborhood. Local streets are filled with small businesses rather than raucous clubs. We would highly recommend this spacious flat to others, and we hope to stay here again.

Not a Comfortable Stay

Good Space, feels secure, nearby bus stop was helpful. The host was very responsive. On the other hand, the accommodation seems not fit for rents when compared with typical accommodations because of few observations. For example, the host still keeping personal clothes and shoes. Also the accommodation is due for major maintenance (as example I had to report a plumbing problem and I stayed part of my morning waiting and supervising maintenance work until I requested the host to send his contact focal point to supervise the work and he thankfully helped in that. The bedroom door handle was damaged/loose, Shower door rail stuck..). In addition, the cleaning level needs improvement we could not use sofa bed sheets and bellows as it was dirty and have very bad smell.

The apartment was lovely, with a surprisingly large kitchen that was stocked with everything we needed. It was about a 7 minute walk to the Royal Oak tube stop and the 36 bus which goes to Paddington Station goes right past the building.There were several small grocery stores within walking distance and a WONDERFUL takeout/eat in restaurant, The French Taco, a couple blocks away. (Not Mexican, maybe Turkish?)Jinny was very helpful. When we had a problem with the lock on the front door she had it quickly repaired while we were out.

Lovely!

Our arrival was a bit bumpy as our taxi driver dropped us off about half a block away (apparently the postal code is slightly confusing), but the on-site contact person was excellent and quickly got us sorted out. We enjoyed the neighbourhood, including the corner grocery store across the street and 'The Rug' coffee shop just up the street. We made good use of the two underground stations that were both walkable, within 10-15 minutes. The washing machine and drying rack were super handy, and we were thankful for the fans during the hot weather. The building felt very secure. We enjoyed our stay :-)

This was a great apartment for our family of 4 to use as a base to explore London for 5 days. It is as advertised and the owner/managers were very easy to work with and great at communication. There is a small grocery shop and cafes across the street, and the bus stop is right in front. We would stay here again.

This flat is perfect if you are in London for sight-seeing. My husband, mother-in-law (MIL), and I were visiting from the United States. Our son is studying in London for the semester. The owners and flat manager were extremely responsive and accommodating.

Appartamento perfetto per un soggiorno in 4/6 persone. Non in posizione centralissima, ma comunque ottima per visitare la città. In 10-12 minuti a piedi raggiungi la metro westbourne park, e la fermata del bus è Molto vicina. Proprietari molto disponibili. La consiglio vivamente.

Nice spot to stay

Pretty much as advertised, a nice flat in a secure mid-rise building near a small commercial area. It was a bit of a walk to various Tube stations (10-15 min) but the 36 bus takes you right to Paddington from the street if you don’t want to walk. The canals were interesting and we enjoyed the local pubs. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Place was very clean and equipped and everything worked.

Last minute booking

Literally booked the day before we arrived and had no issues at all. Alemao was really helpful, met us at the property with keys and even helped my mother in law with her bags. Good location with Sainsbury's at the end of the road and is a short walk to Warwick Avenue tube station. Property was clean and tidy, and had everything we needed including extra pillows, ironing board etc even DVD's. Helpful information on the kitchen notice board (one of the taxi numbers now out of date) Would absolutely stay again!

We are an Indian and Icelandic couple, who has lived in a few places before deciding that London is home (for now!).
Our adventure in mad and delightful London began in 2012, and our love for this city quadrupled when we had our daughter here in 2013.

We love travelling and so it was no surprise that we met each other in the warm heart of Africa way back when the internet was an annoying dial-up! It was during these archaic times that Steini and I went on our first backpacking trip through East Africa for a few months. Not knowing other travellers' reviews of hotels and bus journeys, it would be an understatement to say that we ran into some pretty sticky situations! All in all though, we had a accommodation and all!!

It gives us great joy to listen to and engage in other traveller's fact, as you make this booking and give us your background, the wanderlust soul in us is already thinking of how we can make this trip even more special and exciting for you! Why they chose this property

The property is located really well - its tucked into a nice quiet corner even though it is minutes away from restaurants, grocery stores, cafes, pubs and the canal. From the 5th floor windows one gets magnificent, photo worthy views of the Notting Hill carnival, while a trip down the elevator literally lands one in the carnival itself!
We love this place because of its proximity to all things we love - Portobello Road, Notting Hill kitsch shopping, Westbourne Grove high-end shopping, Warwick avenue coffee shops and bakery, Bayswater restaurants. The apartment is also a 30 minute stroll to Madame Tussauds and another 15 minutes from there to Oxford Street!

What makes this property unique

One of the things that a lot of guests feel at the end of the day in hectic London is their delight at coming 'home' to the apartment, which has an air of calm and serenity being located on the 5th floor. So whether you want to stand with a cup of tea out in the balcony, looking at the sun set, or order food in, and sit in front of the telly, the apartment gives you the feeling of being nestled in comfort at the end of a spent day in London!
