Complete relaxation in this renovated farmhouse. Convenient to all things in Uwharrie National Forest. Property is very clean and updated. You will enjoy all of the new furniture, large family dining table, and spa-like bathroom. All of the conveniences of home. Great outdoor space with large deck, charcoal grill, and fire pit.
Plenty of outdoor space and lots of parking.
It's a great starting point to explore the area. Fishing, hiking, mountain biking, OHV trails, Horse trails, etc Conveniently located at the entrance to the forest. Sorry, no pets-no exceptions.

Great little gem!

Just what we were looking for! The home was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable while visiting the area! It is in a nice quiet spot and private. The host was great! Super nice and quick to reply and to address any questions or issues we had! Definitely would come back here in the furture!

Great Cabin

We have a yearly trip to Uwharrie and have stayed at this cabin for years. Very convenient location, great owners, and comfortable stay. We will continue to rent.

Excellent Choice for the Uwharrie Area

I've stayed at this property several times over the years and it ultimately remains a favorite. Clean, convenient, easy parking and just very cozy.

Wonderful as always

This is our third time staying at The Farmhouse and we absolutely love it! My only suggestion would be to add blinds in the bedrooms for those of us that are light sleepers, the lights shining in the windows from cars driving down the highway tended to wake me up.

Farmhouse at Uwharrie

The property was perect for my friends and I. We of course were mostly out on the trails, but the house was clean and inviting. The outdoor firepit area was super nice and a great surprise.

Clean and comfortable

We stayed here for a work week while working in Troy. It was clean, comfortable, and we enjoyed sitting out on the front porch watching the cars go by and listening to the birds. We will be back.

Perfect location for running or hiking in Uwharrie Forest

This is an adorable and updated little house less than half a mile from the El Dorado Outpost. If you’re in town to run any of the Uwharrie Mountain trail races, this is a great location. The house is clean, nicely outfitted, and cozy.

Loved our stay at The Farmhouse! Proximity to the National Forest is amazing, and the house itself is charming and spotless. Kitchen could be a touch better equipped, given few restaurants close by, but that’s a bit, as the house is an outstanding find.

Eldorado Farmhouse

Very nicely done farmhouse. Comfortable, clean. Excellent porches and fire pit area for morning coffee. Close proximity to 2 access points on Uwharrie River, Eldorado Outpost, and trail heads. Plan to return in future.

Easy and comfortable

My friends and I stayed here for a weekend while visiting the Uwharrie Mountains. The house was a perfect place to launch our day trips from and great to come back to and relax. Really comfortable and simple setting was perfect for relaxation and quiet. Nicely furnished, clean and organized.

Clean and Great Location

We loved our stay at The Farmhouse in Uwharrie. We were shocked how close it was to Uwharrie, we knew beforehand it was close but didn’t realize just how close until we got there. The house was so clean, had a washer and dryer and full kitchen. The kitchen was stocked with some coffee, coffee filters and disposable plates and utensils which was a pleasant surprise. Definitely recommend The Farmhouse, we will definitely stay there again for our next trip to Uwharrie!

A country haven

A beautiful country house in a strategic location. Close to hiking trails, a lake, the North Carolina Zoo, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem. Nothing is "next-door," but that was the idea. Well-stocked, extremely clean, and with excellent wifi. If you want a bit of isolation but within reach of the area's attractions, this is a fantastic choice.

The Farmhouse in Uwharrie.

This house in the perfect rental when visiting the Forest. The location is perfect, along the North Entrance and next to the Eldorado Outpost for any supplies/food. The house was very well kept and clean. The interior included the 2 bedrooms (3 Beds), a good sized bathroom and a large dining table. We picked the Farmhouse mainly due to location, but ended up being very happy with this house. We come down at least once a year to get some off-roading in and The Farmhouse in Uwharrie will be our new go to. Very Satisfied with the house and the owners were great.

Perfect location for hiking in Uwharrie

Great little farmhouse in a perfect location to do some hiking at Uwharrie. Beds were very comfortable and so cozy! Linens were luxurious! Could use a small table on other side of the bed. Bathroom has been updated and has a large cabinet so there is plenty of space to put your toiletry bags. Could use more towel rods or hooks. Kitchen was adequate. Plenty of plates and flatware. Could use more small glasses (like juice size) and maybe more pots/pans, but we had all we needed. Some of the lower cabinets could use a thorough cleaning. There were cobwebs in some (but nothing stored there). The kitchen table is big and suitable for games, though the seating is either metal chairs or wooden benches in a corner that you have to slide around if you want to seat many people. The sectional couch in the living room was SO cozy and comfortable. There is a gas fireplace, but we didn't use it. It was too chilly to sit on the porches, but there is a nice front porch and back deck. Some reviews mention the traffic on the road. We noticed it, but it was not a problem. We enjoyed our stay!
