Relax and unwind at this beautiful getaway right on the water. Bring your boat, jet skis, fishing poles, and golf clubs—there’s something for everyone to enjoy! Start your mornings with coffee on the dock as you take in serene views of peaceful Goat Island. Watch fish jump and listen to the calming sounds of nature all around you. Spend the day swimming or cruising the lake, then cast a line off the dock beneath the stars. After a day of fun and adventure, sink into our cozy beds for a restful night’s sleep.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Gather all trash & put in the bin on the upper driveway. Bring trash can to street Tuesday nights & please Face bin front toward street.
Turn off all of the lights, tv’s and fans. Set the AC to 75° or HEAT to 60°.
To lock the front door, hold a finger on the # sign. CLOSE/LOCK WINDOWS. Put away life vests and floats in the cabinet on the dock. Put the paddle boards on backside of dock where you found them.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
ABSOLUTELY No parties! A party will result in an immediate eviction from the property and a $500 fee.
Checkout - Remove sheets and pillow case but DO NOT remove zippered covers on pillows or mattresses. Place all bedding inside laundry upon checkout.
Fill/start dishwasher. Hand wash dishes that you can’t fit in dishwasher. Unwashed pots/pans/dishes will result in an additional $75 cleaning charge.

The house was amazing! Right on the lake and a golf course a few minutes away. Activities for everyone. We enjoyed the paddle boards, the fireplace table and floating on the lake with the wildlife. It was a peaceful getaway.

Host sent a lot of helpful information and prepared us well for our stay. The house is in terrific shape and everything worked well for us. Kitchen was well stocked and the only minor thing we needed was a can opener. We were not able to spend much time outside due to weather. We will definitely come back here again. We loved our long Thanksgiving weekend away.

Wonderful home

The home was very clean and well stocked. We came with family and friends for a quiet getaway . It was perfect! We sat in the dock with our coffee enjoying the wildlife around the lake. It was so relaxing. I would definitely recommend it!

This was a great house. The location on the lake was great - a few paddles away from the open lake, but plenty of room in the cove if that feels safer. Super close to a grocery store. About 30 minutes to Mount Morrow which was free to enter. It has some cool hikes and a pretty sunset overlook. My son caught a 10 lb catfish right off the dock! We enjoyed the paddleboards and found the kitchen to be well equipped. The floor plan is spacious as well so you don't feel like you are on top of each other. It was really nice!

My family and I travel often from Texas to NC to visit family and friends. This house was exactly as described! The location was awesome, short 7 minute drive to the grocery store and food options. My son and brother even walked to the golf course. It’s very quiet and peaceful and a great spot for fishing. Truly zero complaints and will be our first pick for future stays!

Great space & awesome host

My family stayed here in March. We had a small family cook out/ gender reveal and it was the perfect space for that. The host was amazingly nice and helpful about everything. He was always quick to respond. I reached out to another property, "hooked on tillery" and that lady was the rudest person so I'm thankful I found Mark's property and booked here. I think my family's only complaint was they didn't love the pillows but the rest was great. The kids and adults loved playing on the shuffleboard table and the patio was nice. I would love to stay again in the summer to really experience the lake.
