This cabin is located 15 miles from Wellsboro, PA. Our business is "Wild Asaph Cabin Rentals LLC." wildasaph.com This cabin is new to us as of May 2017. This is a fantastic property for the outdoor enthusiast. Star gazing is great as the back and front yards have open sky. This cabin sits on 10 beautiful acres find your way to the top of the mountain. This property has 2 creeks running through it. It has 3 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms. A master with its own private bathroom. Sleeps 8 in beds. One bathroom has a bathtub. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer with a utility sink. An open floor plan with a huge fire place in the living room. Roku TV above fireplace. DVD player with a variety of DVD available. Ceiling fans throughout. With mini splits for heat and AC. We do not allow hunting and shooting on this property. For hunters there is state game land all around. There is an outdoor fire pit for your evening hot dog roast. We ask that you put the camp fire completely out when you leave or go in for the night. Safety first. This property sits away from the road and is private. You are at this cabin at your own risk we are not responsible for any personal injuries or any kind while you stay. Thank you. We try very hard to keep things clean and updated for our guests but you have a part as well by respecting our property. You will have to supply your own wood for the out door campsite. We can not keep up with the supply for everyone. We have someone that will deliver all the wood right to the cabin for you. About the host
Hosted by Jane Yoder
Hello, we are Harold and Jane Roes Yoder. I was raised in upstate NY in the little town of Castorland. It is one of those towns that if you blink while driving through you will miss it. After my high school years I left Castorland and went into volunteer service through Rosedale Mennonite Missions and served a year in El Dorado AR at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home where I meet my husband, Harold. We married in 1980, had our 1st son James and lived in AR for the next year. We moved back to upstate NY for the next 5 years. By now our second son Adam was born. With Harold having some family in Lancaster county and not much luck with finding a good job in my home town we decided to move our family to Lancaster county. There Harold found his nitch as a Personal Care Home Administrator and for the next 18 years he served the residents and staff as their administrator. Harold was born in Pa and grew up on a farm in McVeytown. He worked hard all his growing up years on the family farm. As well, he left his hometown after high school to volunteer at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home as supervisor over maintenance, laundry and housekeeping. We are two people from two different areas; never knew each other growing up but ended up miles from our homes and found each other in El Dorado AR. We have been married now for 44 years this August 2024. We have two sons as mentioned, both are married. James and his wife have 4 children, Jocelyn (16) Blake (13) Everet 11 and Jaxon who is 7 years. Our youngest son Adam just got married in June 2011 in Japan to a Japanese girl he met at Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake NY. They have 2 sons Sho Edwin who is 11 and Cole Christopher who is 7 years old and a daughter Kumi who is 3 months. 2024 updated.

What makes this property unique
This property sits on 10 acres ,has 2 creeks running through it. These creeks are great if you have kids as they make great babysitters!! The kids never want to leave. There is a fire pit out back. Beautiful views from back deck. Great for hunting, bird watching, hiking, star gazing. and relaxing on both front and back (covered)decks. Beautiful huge fireplace in living room. Dish TV and Roku, and a DVD player with a DVD Library...family friendly.
This property has a large front yard and a huge back yard that leads to the back creek and also to the top of the mountain. The cabin itself sits back away from the road which is a nice plus. A short 15 minute drive in town to Wellsboro.
Very cozy!! Close to the PA Grand Canyon and the town of Wellsboro. This cabin is completely remodeled with new additions making small bedrooms much bigger and adding King size beds in two bedrooms. You can ride ATV along this dirt township road.
