La Volpe is a 100 sqm apartment located inside an ancient and very exclusive villa, Villa il Cavato. The property has 6 hectares of land, of which 3,000 m² are garden with fruit trees and wonderful hidden corners.
Furnished with style and elegance, the country house has recently been restored with care and respect for its history. It retains its colonial character and charm with elegant interiors of stone walls and parquet floors.
Bright and spacious, the completely independent apartment consists of:
- 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin with twin beds that can be joined on request
- 2 bathrooms,
- Main living room / living room with sofa bed
- large and fully equipped kitchen
- Lunchroom
- laundry
- private outdoor courtyard with table and chairs to enjoy outdoor meals, read a book or simply enjoy the view

The apartment is set on two levels.

Tuscany travel.

Beautiful stay at La Volpe in the middle of the Chianti region. With a view over Florence in the distance this is a lovely old house amidst the woods. It is close to the old cities and many wineries. We enjoyed great hospitality by the owner.

Wonderful vacation!

I would never tire of the view - amazing from every vantage point. The pool was refreshing. Even though there were a few apartments, you'd hardly know that other families were around. The kitchen was perfect to make some simple meals, and the washing machine allowed us to pack a little lighter. The beds were comfortable and the apartment spacious for 2 parents and 2 teens (all tall). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would strongly recommend - Stefania was a lovely and welcoming host!

Wonderful property

We enjoyed our four days in Chianti at Stefania's lovely, clean and renovated home. This is a peaceful, romantic, beautiful location and the 2-bedroom apartment was quiet, private, and delightfully renovated and decorated. The Wifi was very good (important for my kids) and STefania friendly and helpful. Ask for specific directions off the main road as the gravel road is a bit of a surprise at first and difficult to navigate. Stefania will be able to direct you better than your GPS.

Fantastisch um dem Alltagsstress zu entfliehen

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in fantastischer Landschaft. Die Vernieterin war super nett. Einzig der Weg hoch zum Haus war sehr holprig und teilweise steil.Den Aufenthalt haben wir genossen und als Start für Städtetouren perfekt gelegen.

Les photos ne reflètent pas la réalité. La propreté laisse à désirer. -Manque de rideau dans une fenêtre -Pas de moustiquaire partout. Ceux en place sont endommagés. -Matelas inconfortables. -Très peu de vaisselle. -Piscine mal propre. -BBQ non fonctionnel (Bûche qui ne se consomme pas) -Mobilier de cuisine très inconfortable (très petites chaises) et table basse. -La propriétaire a 5 chats qui rentrent dans les appartements loués. Attention à ceux et celles que sont allergiques aux chats. -Douche qui coule et odeur de moisissures dans la salle de bain. En résumé, l'hébergement en pourvoirie au Québec est beaucoup plus agréable que la Villa La Volpe.

Très belle nature toscane!!!

Stefania a été une hôte accueillante et sympathique. Le logement la Volpe est spacieux. Il se situe dans un magnifique écrin de verdure. Nous avons profité du calme et de la tranquillité du lieu. À partir de la route principale, un chemin caillouteux d’un kilomètre est à parcourir pour accéder au logement. Il n’est pas adapté aux voitures basses et longues. Il est à proximité de Florence tout en étant au milieu de la campagne. La situation géographique de la Volpe nous a permis de découvrir de nombreuses facettes de la Toscane ainsi que de nombreux lieux culturels. Certains équipements et photos de l’annonce ne reflètent pas tout à fait la réalité. De plus, rien ne précise dans l’annonce que la piscine est partagée avec les autres vacanciers. Le mobilier du jardin est aujourd’hui dégradé il n’a pas permis de profiter de l’extérieur (table cassée, parasol instable et déchiré tombant dès qu’il y’a du vent, un transat pour quatre inutilisable) Habitués à gérer des locations de vacances, nous avons fait des suggestions d’améliorations à Stefania pour les futurs vacanciers.

Schöner Urlaub mit unangenehmen Nachspiel

Die Ferienwohnungwar so ausgestattet wie beschrieben und liegt sehr schön im Grünen . Es waren auf dem gesamten Grundstück Sitzgelegenheiten verteilt, wir haben insbesondere die LIegen am Pool mit der schönen Aussicht sehr genossen. Wer im Urlaub Joggen möchte, findet allerdings nur wenige Wege, die sich dazu eignen. Auch für die Spaziergänge mit unserem Hund gab es wenig Abwechslung. Eine unangenehme Überraschung hatten wir nach unserem Urlaub, als die Vermieterin zusätzliche 120 Euro für die Entfernung von Hundehaaren verlangte, die sich auf dem Teppich angesammlt hatten und die wir mangels Staubsauger nicht selbst entfernen konnten. Dass solche zusätzliche Kosten neben den üblichen Gebühren für den Hund und der Endreinigung anfallen, haben wir in den nunmehr acht Jahren, in denen wir mit Hund verreisen, nicht erlebt.

Geweldig verblijf!

We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad in Greve in Chianti bij Stefania. Wat een prachtige omgeving. Het terrein is groen en heeft een schitterend uitzicht. Stadjes als Pisa, Lucca, Florence en Siena zijn goed te bereiken vanaf hier. De kinderen hebben zich ook erg goed vermaakt in het zwembad en met de kittens. Bedankt Stefania!

Erholung und Natur pur

Eine tolle Unterkunft in einer fantastischen Gegend. Ein beeindruckender Blick beim Relaxen am Pool. Schöne Räume in einer gut ausgestatteten Unterkunft. Sehr gute Matratzen. Gut gelegen für schöne Wanderungen und Ausflüge in die tollen Städte und Orte des Chianti. Stefania Barone ist eine wirklich sehr nette, angenehme und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Mit etwas Glück begegnen einem Hirsche, Stachelschweine und Wildschweine und in jedem Fall findet man hier Erholung!

Great Family Location

The property is charming situated in a rural location but close to lots amenities and within striking distance of all the major tourists cities and towns in Tuscany. Good facilities within and the pool and outdoor areas are fabulous and ideal for families as well as smaller groups. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend to all.

Wir, Ehepaar mit Baby, waren vom 23.5. -27.5. im LaVolpe. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, da es sehr nahe zu Florenz aber trotzdem sehr abgeschieden im Grünen und damit sehr ruhig gelegen ist. Man braucht aber definitiv ein Auto. Wir konnten die Natur genießen und Tagestrips in nah-gelegene interessante Orte unternehmen.

Wonderful stay at the countryside of Tuscany

We had a wonderful stay of three days at the Cottage. A lovely quite area with a beautiful view. A superb place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Chianti region. Many nice place to have a drink, lunch or diner. The house is fully equipped and in good and fresh condition. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Which make our stay complete.

Authentische, ruhige und sympathische Unterkunft

Das war ein herrlich entspannter Urlaub. Wir wohnten in einem der insgesamt vier Wohneinheiten im historischen Gebaüde. Drei der außeren Einheiten werden vermietet, im zentralen Teil lebt die Eigentümerin, die sich persönlich, sehr herzlich und im perfekten Englisch um das Wohl ihrer Gäste kümmert. Die Einheiten sind renoviert und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, auch wenn die Bilder im Netz diesen Umstand weniger gut widergeben: wir fanden unser Verbleib schöner und vor allem neuer als vermutet. Die normale Gebrauchsgegenstände waren vorhanden, Badetücher und Bettwäsche sauber. Eine Klimaanlage gibt es nicht, dafür aber Fensterläden- man sollte es im Sommer wie die Italiener halten: tagsüber alles zu, abends durchlüften.Die Einheiten verfügen alle über einen eigenen Austritt, gerade die beiden -an der Rückseite des Gebäudes gelegenen- Einheiten sind somit ziemlich privat. Im Haus haben wir von den Mitmietrern sowieso nichts mitbekommen. Die Eigentümerin hat angekündigt zusätzlich in Liegen zu investieren, was sehr angenehm wäre, weil zur Zeit nur Stühle vorhanden sind. Das Grundstück lädt aber bei dem schönen Wetter sehr zum verweilen ein. Das Haus liegt ziemlich abgelegen in einem Naturgebiet- mit Wild- wird erreicht über einen Schotterweg, der sich zirka 1,5 km von der Hauptstrasse streckt. Insgesamt dürfte man ungefähr 5 km vom kleinen Dorf S Polo entfernt sein, wo es einen Supermarkt und auch einige Restaurants bzw. Bars gibt. Aus unserer Sicht ein prima Preis:Leistungsverhältnis und empfehlenswert für Gäste, die außerhalb des Trubels verbleiben möchten, nicht auf einem Schwimmbad stehen und eine Autofahrt durch das bezaubernde Chiantigebiet lieben.
