The lovely home of Lilia, Lilia was born to Mark and to offer a special hospitality to travelers in Syracuse. The result is' a fine open space in the main street leading into Ortigia. You will have the privilege of being at home away from home! Set 500 meters from Ortigia and a few meters from the railway station and bus stops will have the relaxing stay in Syracuse. The location of the house allows you to go easy 'is the old town and the beach area where you can enjoy comfortable and equipped beaches. The full-service studio with services and 'elegantly furnished: bathroom with shower, laundry, kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, bedroom with double bed and living area with dining table and sofa bed for 2 extra seats. Air conditioning, LCD TV, iron and hair dryer and other accessories complete the amenities.
15 meters away there is a SPA for your well-being. Good prices.


The house is easy to reach. It lies at the heart of Syracuse and is 50 meters from the terminus of the free shuttles to the Isle of Ortigia you do not want to walk the 500 meters on foot. Adjoining the house there is a supermarket and ATMs, restaurants, newsstands, bars and tobacco. Another peculiar feature is the extreme proximity to the train station.

Awesome Stay

Marco was an excellent communicator and was there to greet us when we arrived. The apartment was very clean and in a great location not far from Ortigia. Also a lovely place for breakfast nearby.

Parfait pour un sejour à Syracuse

super sympa

Ce studio est un endroit de rêve pour tout déplacement sans véhicule car tout peut se faire à pied; A mi-chemin entre Ortygia et le parc archéologique , la voiture reste dans la rue sans problème, quartier tranquille. Bars et restaurants (je recommande la pizzéria il matto à coté) à proximité; ce studio est tout équipé , il ne manque rien, très agréable et bien décoré , une bonne literie Le propriétaire est très sympa; je recommande chaudement cette location! Merci Marco !!

Really lovely

Our host was so helpful and welcoming. Lilia’s house is clean, spacious and very comfortable. The bottle of local red wine was a really nice thought. Couldn’t fault the place!

Home away from home

I think you want a review of the property which was great! As for the city, it leaves a lot to be desired - GARBAGE!!!!, DOG POOP ON THE SIDEWALK, NO PLACE TO WALK OR RIDE A BIKE ONCE YOU ARE OUT OF THE OLD CITY (except one nice bike trail), I was off season, so there was little in information available, my best source was my landlord, and he was great!!!!

Comfortable and well equipped apartment in great location to station, next door to a supermarket and easy walking to historic sites in Syracuse . Lovely host who made us most welcome with wine and ice cream and graciously assisted with our questions.

A great place to stay!

The apartment is very comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Marco was a very helpful host and we particularly enjoyed one of his restaurant suggestions. The apartment is in a great location within easy walking distance to Ortigia and the archaeological park. We loved Sicily and Siracusa. There are so many fascinating places to discover and the people are so friendly. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Nel monolocale non mancava niente, arredamento moderno e funzionale, letto comodo! La posizione è ottima sia per muoversi a piedi verso Ortigia o la Neapolis sia per spostarsi fuori città in auto. Il proprietario e sua moglie gentilissimi e disponibili. Consigliamo assolutamente!

STUDIO près d'Ortigia

Charmant studio bien équipé, une confortable literie, un wi fi excellent, des livres, et surtout bien située à 10-15 minutes à pied de la belle ortigia. Détail très intéressant un parking gratuit devant la maison. L'accueil de Marco était parfait nous avons bien apprécié. Nous recommandons cette location

Spacious Studio

Perfect location to explore Syracuse and the surrounding towns. Free street parking right in front of the building. Unit is large for a studio, spacious for our family of three. Marco is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Le studio est très confortable, décoré de bon goût par notre hôte avec de belles photos qui nous font partager sa passion de la photo et de la Sicile. Lilia’s house 1. We appreciated Marco’s warm welcome and explanations on arrival, not forgetting the bottle of wine. The apartment is well equipped and provides everything for a comfortable stay. It is fabulous to have such a variety of shops nearby, especially a supermarket next door. Marco also sent us an extract of his guidebook in advance of our arrival. We leave Sicilia with fond memories of beautiful scenery, stunning archeological sites and friendly people.

Zeer aanbevolen!

Leuk ingerichte en comfortabele studio. Wifi werkt perfect. Parkeren voor de deur. Supermarkt schuin onder de studio, en de Lidl op twee minuten rijden. Trein- en busstation vlakbij. Kwartiertje lopen naar schiereiland Ortigia, het archeologisch museum of Neapolis. Marco is een gastheer uit duizenden: verwelkomt je met een fles Trappato, reageert snel op vragen en levert volop informatie over bekende en minder bekende bezienswaardigheden. We hebben twee geweldige weken in Lilia's House doorgebracht. Bedankt, Marco!
