About this property
West Wing apartment at the old vicarage
Being the ground floor of the West wing of The Old Rectory this apartment comprises the Mid 1800s dining room (now an ensuite bedroom) and servants rooms including the kitchen (now a large double bedroom).
The rooms are spacious and some look out over the garden to the 13th century grade 1 listed church. In the middle of the ancient Radbourne estate the location is tranquil and great for walking whilst shops, pubs and restaurants are only a short drive away.
Garden terrace.
The space
This is an airy and light space with traditional Georgian and Victorian windows. The setting is tranquil with a large Cedar tree in the garden between the flat and the church. With one en-suite bedroom and a family bathroom the centrally heated property is comfortable year-round.
Private enclosed walled courtyard for outdoor dining and shared gravelled seating area overlooking the garden.
There is now a Carbon Monoxide alarm even though there are no appliances that could generate Carbon Monoxide. The boiler for the central heating is Biomass, housed in a separate building, which when combined with a green electricity supplier makes this an environmentally friendly property.
Guest access
Car parking is available on the large front drive for up to two cars (three may be possible by arrangement). The apartment is self-contained and has outdoor areas both in front and behind the property with table and chairs overlooking the garden and church.
