LOCATION
Nestled in North Lake Tahoe, this 3BR/2.5BA is an amazing mountain retreat that is close to TD amenities, including a short drive to the ski hill, and within 14 miles of 6 different Truckee-area ski resorts.

We provide guest passes, which give you access & discounts on Tahoe Donner Resort amenities including a downhill ski, cross-country ski area, gym, pools, golf, sledding hill, tennis and more (see more info on Tahoe Donner amenities below).

The home has lots of kid-friendly extras, like kids cushions, high chair, gaming chairs, bunkbeds, stools, portable crib, potty chair, sleds, fort-building kit, books, games, zoom-school desks, nintendo, game tables in garage (billiards, air hockey), giant Connect 4, cornhole, horsehoes, frisbee golf type of game, and more….

INTERIOR
A major interior remodel of the home was completed in Feb 2021. The home’s bright interior has an open floorplan and stunning architecture with soaring ceilings. Gather your family around the gas fireplace, or enjoy stunning views from the expansive windows, large decks or 2 different balconies.

Kitchen:
Abundant table seating for 8+ people and 3 barstools. Brand new kitchen appliances with a gas stove, microwave drawer, dishwasher and spacious fridge. Pantry storage for food, and extra food storage in the adjacent laundry room. Slow-cooker, blender, salad-spinner….we tried to think of all the stuff that would help you make delicious cozy meals at home.

Living Areas
The open floorplan allows easy movement between living areas, decks, and kitchen. Two large sofas and kid cushions allow large groups to gather around the fire or to watch a movie on the Smart TV. Tons of natural light from doors and windows give this room a great ambiance.

Master Bedroom
The master bedroom is huge, with soaring ceilings. There is a king bed, balcony, walk in closet with hanging storage and dresser, and an attached bathroom with a gorgeous shower & dual vanity sink. There’s a built-in desk and we provide a monitor, keyboard, and various adapters to allow working from the amazingly scenic room.

Bedroom 2
This bedroom has a queen bed, high ceilings, and desk that folds out of the way if not needed. The closet has hanging storage and a dresser.

Bedroom 3 - Kids “Fort”
This bedroom is HUGE with high ceilings, a large built-in couch, and 2 sets of bunk beds (4 beds total) that have a solid set of storage stairs….making them much safer than bunk beds with ladders. There is a smart TV that allows you to isolate the kids in their room, watching TV or playing Nintendo, while adults have some quiet time. There is a huge fort-building kit that can keep your kids entertained for hours. You’ll also find other books, activities and games. The adjacent closet is very large and has a 4’ desk with an outlet that can help you & your kiddos with a quiet place for zoom school, or creative work.

In the closet, behind a kid-sized door, you will also find a “secret room” which can enable your kids to expand their play area & their imaginations. Note: the “secret room” isn’t heated and not intended for sleeping.

EXTERIOR
There is a gas bbq & expansive decks and balconies with awesome views. Outdoor lounging and dining is comfortable on the high quality teak furniture and built-in benches. Beautiful landscaping and mature trees provide great ambiance year-round and the kids will enjoy exploring around the house, scampering around the trees, or sledding on naturally-forming snow mounds on & around the property.

TECH
Desks and outlets in each bedroom allow your family to stay connected to school or work, if you cannot fully disconnect while staying at the home. Nintendo Classic gaming system with 30 different retro games, and some Nintendo Switch accessories, if you’re bring your system. We also have USB lamps, SmartTVs, SmartDoorlocks and WiFi that works everywhere in the house. Monitor, bluetooth keyboard provided in master bedroom.

Each stay includes Tahoe Donner Amenity Access GUEST Cards which Offer You A Discount On Day Ski Passes To Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area! These same passes gain you access to Trout Creek Recreational Center (Gym / Pool / Hot Tub / Sauna / Ping Pong), and the Private East End of Donner Lake Beach. HOA Amenity Entry to Trout Creek and/or Private East End of Donner Lake is $16/person/day/site payable onsite. One payment, and you have access to both All Day. Next to Trout Creek Rec Center is our favorite restaurant "The Lodge", and directly next to that is Z Market (Convenient Store).

Other things to make note of….
Truckee is central to pretty much everything you’d want to do in Tahoe. Tahoe Donner is very family-friendly, as well as great for groups of friends, retirees, and every other demographic you can think of. This, however is NOT a party house. We have great relationships with our neighbors and do not want to rent the home to groups that intend to party all night, light fireworks, cause disturbances, etc.

There is a Guest Welcome Binder in the home which is full of useful information, and your entire house will have been professionally cleaned before your arrival. We provide a beginning supply of essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher fluid, laundry detergent, shampoo/soap). We provide clean bedding, bath towels, beach towels, hand towels. When dirty, onsite washer and dryer are provided so you can do laundry.


Transient Occupancy Certificate # STR21-00900.
The Transient Occupancy Registration Certificate signifies that the person named has fulfilled the requirements of the Uniform Transient Occupancy Tax by registering with the Tax Administrator for the purpose of collecting from transients the Transient Occupancy Tax and remitting that tax to the Tax Administrator.

Guest access
ACCESS, PARKING, GARAGE
Unlike a lot of homes in Truckee, this home has a flat street, driveway, and EASY entryway, without a huge flight of stairs leading up to the home. This allows simple access year round without having to shovel stairs to get into the home, or haul groceries up big flights of stairs.

The street and driveway both get plowed, so you don't have a struggle to get out. In addition, we provide shovels, sleds, and windshield scrapers for your snow-related needs & desires.

This home has a garage, with parking on one side and a fun air hockey/billiards/ping pong table on the other side. Parking for 3 cars in the driveway, 1 car parking in the garage.

No pets & no smoking anywhere on the property.
